Adam Miller just recommended your channel, and now here I am, preparing to watch all 9 of them in one go, see you at the end of the TPN video!

When you first DMed me about making a video ranking mario games, I was certainly skeptical. However, the way the video turned out was absolutely incredible. I hope this is the beginning of the rise of a new speedrun content creator.

Neat video topic! Very different from your more recent analyses, and even though it's definitely less polished, it's still very clear that you worked hard on the video! I'd love to see your channel take off, I've really been enjoying all of your videos that I've been watching!
@Skyehoppers2 жыл бұрын
Haha thank you! Honestly I might unlist this video soon...I've gotten so much better and all of the records I showed off here are super obsolete. I'm glad some people are still enjoying it though!

"Let's hope no one beats a record in the time it takes to upload" - ah yes, the SummoningSalt principle. For real though, excellent video! Well researched, interesting topic, great presentation, frankly I think this is on par with some of the bigger gaming-related channels in terms of quality. I hope to see your channel grow! :)

Once I backflipped off of yoshi in smg2 before managing to get back on after gaining hight, there is probably a massive use for this in a speedrun but I can’t replicate it

OK, this video is absolutely great. I was hoping more people did this kind of content, and this is why. I really love the explanations of speedruns and how they impact a community. The graphics, the pace, the speaking... all was amazing. If you need help with anything, please let me (or the entire speedrun community, for that matter) be a part of this. We will be eager to contribute. TL;DR: Awesome video, keep it up

Pretty awesome video and very unexpected take on the very high SSC being related to the ACE runs. The point that too shocking puts people away from running those categories it is actually true. Keep up the good work. Keep science up.

I really liked this video for what it is, It's really unique and a good example of how a youtube video should be. There were a few points I would've thrown in with some specific games too, for next time, I would've honestly suggesting adding a form of how intensive the game is. I know this concept is mainly more prevalent in the galaxy games (Especially galaxy 1), but playing for 3 hours straight when it comes to mario galaxy 2, is not the case. Other then that, this video is really clean, and I love how it went on. Shared this around to other discords, and also dropped a hot sub

Thanks! Yeah, I was planning on doing a video on the Zelda series soonish, but it will take a ton more research since I've only played a couple of the games.

If I'm being quite honest, when you contacted me I thought you were just going to be some kid wanting to copy SummoningSalt. I only agreed to being shown to be kind lol. However, I'm incredibly glad that you proved me wrong. This video was amazing! I can't wait to see what other content you create and I hope to see your channel grow more in the future

You really should have plotted your SSC on a logarithmic axis - the point of the notable outliers dwarf the others. Otherwise, great video, have never got into proper speedrunning (i'm not one and done but I do like to move on and explore new experiences rather than tease a single one to the nth degree) but it's nice to see the variety across the franchise
@Skyehoppers4 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah I should have. Would have made the data an lot cleaner. I kinda fixed that in the Zelda video but not by using log.
