I love how they took the purple that's so common in Decepticon designs and made TFOne Megatronus a rich royal purple and sculpted his chassis to make him look like a medieval knight in full plate.

I really love how in Transformers One they made Megatronus Prime a good guy who stood by his fellow Primes and doesn't become The Fallen Also idk if they're keeping some of the aligned continuity lore but I hope so. Because in the lore, Megatronus and Prima were created as Twins with polar opposite powers to achieve perfect balance. Prima being the warrior and guardian of Order & Light...meanwhile Megatronus is the warrior and guardian of Entropy and Darkness. It would be cool seeing Megatronus using his powers of Darkness and Entropy for good. Also side not I love how they also made Sentinel Prime and Zeta Prime two entirely different characters

@kidwithadoomguyhelm471 there's two theories on that. Remember, Megatronus is the Warrior of Darkness and Guardian of Entropy. Meant to be a balance to Prima, who is the Guardian of Light and Order. Megatronus in this case uses his dark powers for good and it's why it's pink. Another theory is that cog was in Sentinel Prime for 50 cycles (50 years). So it's very possible that Sentinel Prime's greed, and hate and malice and evil tainted the cog and made it the color it was

Even though I grew with the Bayverse, Megatronus in ROTF never really appealed to me. The design that really appealed to me, and thought it was menacing too, was/is his RID 2015 version. I loved him there! He was powerful, menacing and the voice really fit him. I also absolutely love his TFONE design. Perfectly represents how he became the inspiration for the Decepticon insignia!

One Megatronus is by far my favorite, I love just how big, but also protective and wholesome he is... I'm lowkey jealous that Solus Prime has him as a husband. If you look at the back of his head, he has lames on his head that look a LOT like a Shikoro, making him resemble a samurai, which only adds to his badassocity. I'm kind of assuming that he turns into some sort of heavy bomber plane? It looks like he has air intakes on his shoulders and wings on his back, but that's just speculation. it's a damn shame we never got to see their alt-modes! Edit: I wanted to fact-check stuff and It turns out I made an error, faulds are bits of armor that protect the lower body, and lames are pieces of armor that protect the upper body! I apologize!

@@Tavish_Studios Plus it'd make sense that he's a big bomber, he could collect minerals and Ore as cargo for Solus prime's forge a lot more easily than he could with a tank, like Dreamwave's original Megatronus Prime. Those tidal waves of metal on the surface are pretty damn scary, and I'm pretty sure that only aircrafts and trains are fast enough to outpace them

To those who wanna know some random info on this version: - he is 16 meters tall - the flame in his chest is called thr Father Flame (reference to One Piece) - like the other 13, he was a normal cybertronian born that lived in Kaon, and husband to Solus Prime) - his prime epithet was The Prime of Heartbreak - didn't have time to do his alt-mode, but it was an off road train vehicle with his requiem blaster acting as a turret

Important to note that the Fallen design in the Bayverse also has some resemblance to the Decepticon symbol on his face. Some of the etchings and details match the look of the insignia. Also the Xbox and PS3 design of the Fallen is pretty damn good.

I love fire-elementals, so the Dreamwave and Revenge of the Fallen designs are right up my alley. If I had to pick between them, though, I'd go with the Dreamwave one. While I did grow up with the ROTF design, the Dreamwave one manages to look more intimidating, especially now in toy form with the upcoming Age of the Primes figure. That toy looks real hefty, and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Whenever I think of Megatronus Prime/The Fallen, I always think about the ROTF incarnation because that was my introduction to the character. Everything about his design was top notch imo, from his head looking like a Pharaoh’s crown to the fiery energy encased within his body. Plus, the fact that he always let out a bestial growl from time to time just added more to his presence. Also, the fact that he was voiced by Tony Todd was just chef’s kiss.👌🏻 RIP to that legend. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

ROTF Fallen actually has the outlines of the decepticon insignia also in the middle of his face. The problem (as with so many Bay designs) is that they got a bunch of interesting little details but don't do much with them. Just separating the outlines with colors around the insignia more could have done a HUGE difference. It also gives it another layer of depth to "taking his face". But the fact that this isn't very clear and went for most people over their head, until pointed out, speaks for itself. Especially with the design and writing. The only question is, does "taking the face" now make Bay Prime more psycho or less psycho?

"It's too alien-like, it doesn't feel like a cybertronian" Kind of oxymoronic lol, but I get it. I personally adore his design in the film, you need to keep in mind that the protoforms kind of looked like this too in TF1 and raw cybertronians all have very alien designs, even Megatron that had an alien jet mode (which also followed the same general design ruleset of the Fallen). He just looks so cool in my opinion, the fact he looks so alien is a big plus for me. On top of that I like the idea of the original Primes not transforming into anything, adds to their mystical, ancient nature.

I think my favourite look for the Fallen is probably Josh Burcham's. The art depicts him walking out of Unicron's maw, in a slightly slimmer version of Dreamwave look, and with a pair of fiery wings emerging from behind his back. Looks fantastic, makes me want a flame wing effect part for the AotP figure.

My favorite The Fallen design is War Within. Also one of my favorite Transformers designs in general. Other The Fallen and Megatronus designs I like are FLAME toy, Studio Series toy, Robots in Disguise 2015, Transformers One, Age of the Primes, KalahanNikolai, and MagnumHydrox.
