I have gone back and forth about trying to get a Twyla doll for years but something always seemed off to me. I think I just always love her box art so much more than the doll that I end up disappointed

The Freak Du Chic Twyla was the first MH doll I really paid attention to in stores. I wanted her so badly but didn’t get her because I thought I was too old for dolls. Oh how I wish I could go back in time!!

I’m late to this video but. Twyla is my absolute favorite monster high character. She is just true to herself. Also coffin bean Twyla was my first ever doll trade in like the 3rd grade. I loved the circus Twyla had I had her and I still have the haunted doll.

I feel like there aren't a lot of people who feel like more could've been done with her initial design. She's the daughter of the boogeyman and her outfit is so... not elevated. I feel like they should've leaned more into a shadow-related design rather than what we got. Honestly, I wouldn't have really minded a softer look if it was just done right. (My personal opinions might or might not be popular, I don't know. But Twyla was an interesting character so they could've done more with her outfits.) Edit: Great job on the video btw! :)

I get what you mean! One of my personal fave MH dolls is River Styxx. I feel like with her they did a better job of meshing a pastel palette with a dark theme than they did with Twyla Edited for spelling lol

I have such a love hate relationship with the og Twyla doll , she’s super cute in my opinion and I love the base doll. But I got when I was like 10 so I would play with them and the skirt made it impossible to play with her because it would always ride up. So when ever I look at her all I can think of is how frustrated little me got when ever playing with her

So Twyla for me was always a character that I liked but the dolls ALWAYS let her down. Perfect: --- NONE Good: Coffin bean (Love this hair but not so much the outfit, Original (Like the outfit but not the hair) Not for me: Haunted, Freak du Chic, New Scaremester Mediocre: Garden Ghouls (Pretty but no) Bad: Howling Hoodies and Electrified (No explanation needed) Burn it: School Spirit (No explanation needed)

Freak du Chic is absolutely a perfect Twyla 💯 Haunted and Coffin Bean are also perfect Twyla dolls for me (idk what is up with her shoe color in that stock photo, I don't feel like they quite clash so badly irl, though if there was one thing I would change yeah it'd probably be the shoe color.) Her original doll I consider good, and Electrified is absolutely a burn doll for me. Pb&J Twyla may be boring but she's not nearly the mess that Electrified is.

I like Twyla a lot but getting compete Twyla dolls secondhand is messy. When I saw she was coming back in g3 I decided to only buy g3 twyla instead. I hope this video doesn't make me feel like I have to go back like I almost did with Operetta lol Perfect: Freak du chic, Haunted, Creepover party (g3) Good: Garden ghouls this one is just cute enough, Original/13 wishes Good but not for me: Coffin bean, Mediocre: New Scaremester, Electrified this isn't the most awful one and has some good stuff going on Bad but it gets worse: Howling hoodies Burn it: School spirit Oh man next video will be super interesting I hate alot of the manster dolls and ADORE a very select few

Wow, I'm surprised. Based on what I've heard you say in other videos I figured this one would be more negative. I've always liked Twyla's color scheme, and I absolutely adore her personality in the g3 show. So I like her a lot. I hope they make more dolls of her soon 💙💜
