4:39 It's kind of weird that world 5 tower is a lot easier than that of world 4 in all aspects. Not only is the Bowser Jr. battle harder in world 4, but also the tower stage itself with that rising lava. When I played it for the first time it made me think that the swampy waters in the forest were actually boiling because of that lava Speaking of Bowser Jr. battles, those of worlds 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 (first tower) are probably the only bosses you can beat without moving, by just throwing fireballs at them. Same with the first Bowser. Nine fireballs in just one or two seconds, and they're done for 9:28 That Mummipokey is a hell of a boss when you have to defeat it being tiny Mario. I don't know why they made world 4 so hard. Well, it's actually not that hard, but it's substantially tougher than worlds 3 and 5 (except for stage 3-3 maybe) 11:40 This battle gets a lot easier if you defeat giant Bowser first with fireballs, therefore preventing him to become mad. Then Bowser Jr. is a piece of cake 13:30 Well, NSMB came out four years before SMG2, so we could say the opposite, SMG2's Lakithunder is based on that of NSMB BTW, what of the Bowser Jr. battle in world 6's second tower? I'd probably place it one stage over its analogous battle in world 8's second tower, since it features lava, a tilting platform and lava bubbles at each side of it

All the bosses in this game are pretty easy (like NSMB2), but they're fun nevertheless. Lakithunder and Monty Tank are cool designs too. And might I add, ground-pounding any boss counts as 2 hits, and hitting one with enough fireballs instantly defeates it

You can actually beat Monty Tank in about a minute. See, what the game doesn’t tell you is that ground pounding (not in the Mini Form) on bosses counts as TWO hits. So here’s what you do… Immediately jump on the tank for the 1st hit. Wait out the Bullet Bill barrage, then the tank gains one level. You can still jump up there without Bullet Bills and this time, use a ground pound. This bypasses the third phase and defeats him.

IMO you should rate the Bosses also on where they are in Game. For example the First Bowser Jr Fight is better than the 2nd or 3rd one because eventhough He doesnt do much it is justyfied by being the First Boss in a Game from a Game series that didnt get a new Game for a very Long Time and the supsequent Bowser Jrs should be Harder cauz the Player allready learned the drill. Its very likely that new Super Mario Bros is the First Game of someone so the First Boss should be easy but the following ones Harder. For Sure the First Boss Fight isnt packed with cool effects and mechanics.
