I don't understand Bungie's stance on Strand at all. They say that they want Stasis to be the Crowd Control subclass, but everything about Strand is designed for CC. Why would you design Strand the way it is, and then step back and ask yourself why it's doing what it does. Like, that's how you designed it. What did you expect to happen? Now, they've taken that ability away from Strand and given it an identity crisis

They didn't take the ability away, what are you on about? If you are about Suspend, its still better than stasis for normal enemies, for champions it's just a quick way to interrupt their actions or animations, as it should've been in the first place. The thing Stasis needs imo is more emphasis on shatter to make the cc aspect just a bit more unique.

MORE GRENADES PLEASE!!!! And give titans a new melee where they stomp the ground and summon a stasis crystal in front of them. Hold Melee to summon a bigger crystal. (With crysoclasm aspect equipped, a second melee on the crystal causes it to slide, NOT SHATTER INSTANTLY, then shatter on impact with an enemy/object) Warlock melee should be a holdable stream of slowing projectiles like a icy flamethrower. New Hunter melee should use both Sycthes to dig into a target instantly shattering them

Stasis needs some of these changes. - Shards should be made with fragments and not aspects. - The 40% DR from the fragment Chains, should work similar to that of Woven Mail. Whenever that 40% DR gets activated, it lingers for 10 seconds after there's no more crystal or frozen enemies. Allowing for a little extra survivability (especially for Warlock) and less stationary gameplay. - Rime(Stasis only form of intrinsic healing) needs to be removed and added to another fragment or reworked. A few of the stasis armor exotics need some buffs as well. Bakris - Kills while Light Shift is active reduce the cooldown of the next dodge. * Red/Orange - 5% * Champs - 20% *Mini Boss - 50% *Boss - 100% *Guardians - 10% Ballidorse - Allows for early deactivation of the super for a 15% stasis damage boost. Hoarfrost - Finally change barricade size depending on which which barricade you have equipped and allies get 25% increased ability cooldown regen while behind the barricade. Cadmus - Precision Kills or kills with a diamond lance create a stasis elemental explosion that slows nearby enemies. Winter's Guile - Gain 2 melee charges.

I was thinking the same thing. Bonk Titan, in GMs, isn't S tier. Too much stuff can shot you and always picking up your hammer becomes an issue. Solo'ing dungeons and raids? S tier. GMs? Meh.

I disagreed with half of your tierlist last time...but this one is very accurate. Though for me void hunter is low A because his offencive capability on it's own is very bad. Invis is good in GMs but arc or solar damage output would be a lot more noticable. All the other classes stay perfectly at their spots.

I’ve been enjoying strand hunter all season. Mostly with foetracer and Mothkeepers. The super is ok, but the abilities fun factor!!! The clone grabbing all the agro is almost as good as invisibility at times lol.

I agree with mostly everything besides strand warlock I think it deserves around mid S tier. Best damage super on warlock automatically gives it a large bump and its neutral game is decent. I'd personally say that if you already have a warlock running well its the best thing you could run.

My most played class is Revenant but I've been trying out some other builds for the last couple of months. My favorites have easily been Orpheus Rig Thether Spam and Gyrfalcons with Graviton Lance. I do really enjoy Solar but I don't particularly like any of the exotics. YAS is getting mega nerfed, Caliban's is a lot of fun but a little bit too much of a hassle for what it provides compared to other add-clear builds and Arthrys's sadly just feels rather weak. Lucky Pants is pretty cool and running Speedloaders on Solar to give your whole Team the speedloader buff and radiant is a cool support build but it doesn't feel all that special. Arc hunter is awsome but the Assassins Cowl build is probably the "hardest" class I've played so far and I don't always want to think that much while playing. Lastly I really can't get myself to like Strand Hunter. The super is just plain unfun to use, the grapple grenade is suboptimal compared to shackle grenades, the melee feels like a worse version of Withering Blade and there is barely any cool Strand exotics to synergize with the build (both weapons and armor). I love the Strand Beyblade though. If they added an exotic armor piece to double down on becoming a radioactive beyblade master I'm down.

I think that new super preview was their way of telling us “it’s getting nerfed, but we’re gonna give you something to soften the blow a little.” I just hope they don’t give us an exotic that let’s us activate it while dead for self rez. I know they said they’d never bring back self rez, but they’ve done things counter to what they’ve said before so I wouldn’t be surprised.

@@bjcooper4365 dont think anything can ever be as broken as well, look at pvp, if your enemy team has well u Will most likely loose, becaus if they pop well and their team stands in it the entire team basicly becomes immortal, it takes atleast 3-5 people belastning their Guns in 1 persons head to kill one person. Well needs atleast a 50% ner minimum in pvp, minimum. And its not like they dont have anything if u need well, al other things warlocks have are great also, the class simply does not have a downside

The best thing about Destiny 2 is 'almost' every subclass is viable in PvE Grandmaster content and that's how I mostly judge my subclasses as anything is viable in Legendary and lower content. I personally wouldn't be able to make Behemoth work in GM without just paying defensive, maybe someone else understands it's power but for me it's the shittest of the shittest (I fast forwarded the video, I see that you agree, glad it's not just me) - We're obviously talking about the current game, but before the nerfs to Strand, Threadrunner with it's double grenades basically nerfed any GM and with Aeon Souls me and my team walked the last two season GM's, but with the nerfs and Banner of War added, I full agree Titan Strand is far superior now. I don't really disagree with any of the other spots other than Arc Warlock is S+ tier for me (With Arc Soul, getting class ability on grenade damage you basically have an infinite uptime on all abilities and getting healing plus an offensive buddy for all your team.) It's unstoppable in all content especially with the damage and speed of damage that arc boasts. - I would also change, If Broodweaver get's B-Class then Shadebinder deserves B-Class also, most certainly since the Strand nerfs. Shadebinder is the only stasis class I consider viable in high end content and freezing people in GM content is a life saver. But other than that, great list.

The super is one of the worst in the game when you think about it. The DPS is just not there, even with SES. Whirling Maelstrom is cool but not amazing. Since suspend got nerfed, the class doesn’t have anything it really brings to the table.

You can use basically anything everywhere that isn’t underleveled. But once you start playing under level some kits fall off. And some just aren’t optimal for BOTH encounter mechanics and DPS. Threadrunner definitely falls into that latter category.

Hes not entirely wrong... There are some things in the game that trivialize almost all content at the high end. And personally I agree with his take on damage supers where running them in endgame/Day 1 raids right now is almost useless when well and weapon rotations are currently so good. Supers Either need a buff which means making overall boss health even higher or weapons and their rotations need a nerf to bring supers back into the forefront of meta dps and final stands etc.

Right now the best exotic armor piece for solar warlock would be sunbracers so I would pick those. For your super you should choose well, team support and survivability. The super called dawnblade is sadly not that good at the moment. For weapons you can really pick anything you like, your sunbracer grenades will do most of the work. Perhaps the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn as your heavy 🤷🏼‍♂️ That‘s a loadout most would consider meta. Take this as a starting point. Perhaps you like another exotic more on the solar warlock 🤷🏼‍♂️

I love well but my gosh like the subclass needs some serious reworks. the fact that pretty much every feature of the subclass has a specific interaction with heat rises is such a weak point for a game built around buildcrafting its like "Make your guardian any way you want but you have to run this aspect and this super or loose a ton of subclass potency" and that really pisses me off

Solar hunter is definitely NOT on par with arc and void hunter. Void hunter lacks damage but makes up for it with insane survivability and utility, arc hunter has some of the best PVE exotics with liar's and assassin's cowl making it VERY strong. Solar hunter lacks the big damage and survivability of solar titan and the unparalleled utility of solar warlock and does okay super damage but when solar titan is competing with super damage using their melee + roaring flames... I say it can't stand in S tier, it's an A at best.

In the current state, I don't think there are any subclasses that deserve a D or F grade. All subclasses are usable, however, there are subclasses that are far and above better than everything else.

I think solar hunter isn’t that great. Compared to the other hunter subclasses, managing your abilities and buffs is like walking on a tightrope. It’s all centered around throwing knife, and that can be inconsistent in harder content and content with a fireteam. It’s not absolute trash but the other subclasses do what it does better with either less or easier set up.

I use Omnioculus in GMs regularly. Invis hunter is absolutely S+ tier when you can negate enemy detection and mitigate incoming damage by 50%. I had to stop watching there.

The damage resist is cool but not really all that helpful since the whole point of Invis is that enemies can’t shoot you.

The whole point of damage resistance is it’s basically used as a fail safe and for stray bullets or aoe damage. Invisibility is nice and helpful 80% of the time, but when it doesn’t help, x4 damage resistance does. My comment is mostly about how Void Hunter is way better than mentioned in the video.

what? it is useful. damage resistance when a boss stomps on your head because you got detected for a second while using invis is important. then having to tank splash damage while supporting teammates with revives etc. its helpful!@@warv6552

For example, crota on contest mode could have been achievable if people had thought to use phoenix cradle sun breaker, but because well was there that entire strategy is kind of ignored. I just don't feel like one single subclass should be utterly necessary for every endgame activity.

@@chaserucker604 phoenix cradle definitely wouldn’t have helped. People die in wells, let alone in sunspots. Plus u would need to kill enemies near crota to spawn sunspots which lost for 7 seconds. That’s not only not enough healing but also very short and insanely inconvenient. Even with 3 wells, crota still was a difficult challenge. Without wells, it’s statistically would’ve been impossible to do crota without well.

⁠@@mrlunar62Sever can reduce Crotas damage output by 40%. Woven mail grants 55% DR. Titans can get Woven to their entire team by popping their super, and each hit with said super Severs Crota. Lament Heals you on hit and with Crotas reduced damage output it can keep you alive for a while, and healing nades can also save you in a pinch. My team cleared Crota day 1 with only 2 wells cause we all had healing nades and spaced out when we were going to use them.

The "old suspend threadrunner" due to the nerfs definitely belongs in B... but the new whirling maelstrom makes it on par with gathering storm at least. Hunter gunslinger and threadrunner should be swapped gunslinger is weak as hell in high level content you are as weak as wet tissue. Strand hunter has basically infinige woven mail and the movement of two grapples means you control the terrain

If its for PvE only, void titan is extremely overrated, C tier for sure tbh. 0 value in running that subclass solo or with a team.

Yeah its in a very weird spot for me. I don't think its nearly as useless as Behemoth, but I also don't find many situations where you'd run it simply because there are better options. But the weaken and overshield capabilities for solo and team play make it B for me.

I don’t understand this video wtf is this ranking based off if it’s overall gameplay wit gms/raid then this ranking needs to be redone cuz they talk about dps as if that’s all the subclasses are based off if you put strand hunter on B then so should arc hunters as arc hunters is literally a NICHE subclass when running wit teammates on gms yet they rank it S because it’s very very good at normal/master raid runs for ad clear and dps so wtf is this video about 😂

I don't understand it either, solar hunter and solar bonk titans S+ tier in GMs? I want to see them play those classes in the Mars GM or in Lightblad GM so i can understand how to play them, since I honestly don't understand how are they gonna make the melee solar titan, with its minuscule restoration and cure, work in an activity that can oneshot you through banner and woven mail at the slightest mistake. Solar hunters and arc hunters are literally more fragile than a wet paper towel too, so it's even worse.

@@bjcooper4365 like Salt said “the best defense is offense” why would I need healing when I have 4502948503 pulse nades, 59208202 healing rifts, 83959926 charged melees and 84 supers and I have DR at all times because I’m Amplified

@@truthzy1668 healing rifts lock you in one location and aren’t instant like a healing grenade or devour. And all that ability regen doesn’t matter when you can get killed in less than 2 seconds by most things. Arc warlock is good in mid tier content and playable in high tier. But it will not surpass voidlock or well lock and doesn’t deserve to be on their tier, yet.

@@truthzy1668 well is the better option for most GMs. Void is really good for solo / low man content or dungeons because contraverse can give infinite uptime on weaken if you already have a well or need a damage super. Arc warlock was good last season with the arc mods, but it’s not as good this season.
