I spent four and a half hours ranking every single enemy that you could possibly fight in Terraria 1.3.5, from a Blue Slime to Moonlord. The tier list spans a whopping 444 enemies and serves as a fun way to gauge how meaningful every enemy is when playing. What qualifies as an enemy?
Enemies are loosely qualified as entities that have HP and can be targeted by the player. There are some exceptions to the rule, however.
What criteria are used to determine an enemy's tier?
1: Appeal. Is the enemy interesting, does fighting it create interesting gameplay? Does the enemy interact well with its surroundings?
2: Value. Does the enemy reward the player thoroughly or meaningfully for killing it? Is there a unique drop the enemy provides?
3: Impact. Is the enemy undeniably meaningful to Terraria? Would the game be the same without it? Is it iconic?

If you have gear to actually fight Plantera, have lit the area around you, and have some ability to dodge, you should escape with only small damage. You may also be poisoned. However, if you have built a spawn point nearby, or have easy access to health potions, damage does not matter to much. Also, as I fear that this reply may make it seem as though I play in normal mode, as I seem to disregard damage, let me assure you that I play in expert. That should make this post more applicable to your situation.

first off, I love the angry tumbler. I played on mobile for the first 3 years I had this game, so seeing them on computer was a nice and warm (and sandy) welcome. 2. the first time I saw a bone serpent, I legitimately thought it was an actual mini-boss 3: 19:31 koe shi neel 4. it's a shame the sand sharks are almost always hidden by the sand so you can't get a good look at them 5. skeleton sniper is the one enemy I fear in the post-plantera dungeon

Vampire knives actually hard counter crawltipedes. Since it’s percentage of damage dealt-based, and hitting the tail of a crawltipede massively boosts your damage, it gives you something stupid like 36-80 health for every successful hit.

Tbh wall of flesh really IS a good boss. The first time you see it, youre like "IM SUPPOSED TO BEAT THAT THING?". It is an absolutely terrifying boss, unique, and the best of the entire game. Also, ironically this boss has the same track that plays during the twins boss fight (best track in the game imo) and i fought both these bosses the same way: run in one direction while shooting behind you.

Cameron Holmberg actually the ice wings have a flight time of either 60 or 80 and the mechanical wings u get from the steampunker after the golem is dead have a flight time of 90, so they are a 2nd best before dukes wings EDIT: plus the ice golem is seriously annoying lmfao 😂

While watching this I devised a fix for the pillar event: once you kill the lunatic cultist, the enemies spawn at the pillars and drop the fragments so you’re not forced to kill 150 or however many and you can choose which one to go for depending on the class you play. Then you spawn moon lord another way (don’t have anything for that yet just thought of this) and the celestial enemies stop spawning. This eliminates the grind and allows you to choose what you go for.

how about making a celestial tablet that's permanent but harder to get so you don't have to refight the pillars every time you want luminite , a possible crafting recipe would me : 25 of each fragment , 20 of each soul , 5 of each hardmode ore and a celestial talisman (an item that you would get from killing all the pillars)
