Meh Lando always felt like a plot device to me. Only there a couple of times to get the A-team out of nasty situations, not much background story or character development. A bit like boba fett to me. They have their screen presence, but character lacks too much depth and interest to make a series or movie out of him alone. So he shouldnt be in S or A class.

@@leemeyer9395 a major point for any character ever is to talk, but 3po serves a much bigger purpose in SW. He is a connection to Anakin and gives Luke and him another father-son connection, he serves as a translator for R2, foreshadows certain plot elements and sometimes even acts as a voice of reason, serves as com relief, him and r2 are the only characters that appeared in every SW movie which makes him and them important and significant for the franchise. The list goes on and since I did not ever do a character study or anything like that, I am sure there's someone who could say even more. My point is, there is more to him and other characters than "just talking".

@@leemeyer9395 It's not so much that he lived long, but rather what he did. He was a connection between Anakin and Padme. He was a connection between Anakin and Luke. He was a connection to every character that ever talked to him. He translated Jabba for Luke, for example. He translated with the little guys in a forgettable clone wars arc. While he might not be the best character ever, there's not much that takes away from his character.

The Kodex depends on the point of view. Obi wan is no doubt an amazing character, how he stayed on the light side having his girlfriend killed in front of him is prove enough. However his devotion to the republic might have been his downfall. During an interview Dave Filoni explains why “Duel of fates” is called like that (scene and music) and he goes to detail about how Qui Gon is the father figure Anakin needs and Obi wan is the one he gets, dealing Anakin’s fate. But yeah, Obi wan is an amazing character but my comment is about devotion to the force itself

Potential is not ACTUAL character. What little we know of him is pretty basic, and most of his character defining moments happen offscreen prior to the films.

Just curious, what made you rank Tobias Beckett so low? I thought his character provided a lot of backstory as to why Han behaves the way he does Kylo is probably one of my favorite characters out of the new trilogy that kept me coming back. I feel the same way as you do and wish they could’ve done something different. I got a lot of Kylo Ren merch, looking forward to the new shows/movies Finally some love for Jango! 💪 I also agree that Dooku and Qui Gon are top-tier characters Snoke was one of my favorite characters in the sequels (and it was revealed that he was self-aware and that he didn't even know Palpatine). His death was premature but I think that they could fix him if they do any additional material I have a problem where I absolutely love Qui Gon Jinn more than any other Jedi and have a huge affection for basically all the main clones from Clone Wars. Domino Squad, 501st, etc. Amazing characters, all of them. Me looking for Ahsoka: "Impossible, perhaps the archives are incomplete" I totally agree with you on everything, I also think that some characters had really epic concepts but what they ended up doing with them is so bad, like Finn, some characters had so much potential. You could say that Anakin/Darth Vader represents the duality of man, his “good” side is the one who was the chosen one who was destined to lead the galaxy into a prosperous future, while his “evil” side is the one who was supposed to bring utter destruction and chaos upon the galaxy. Obi-Wan is the best character in my opinion. His story is about not being naturally gifted, but becoming one of the best out of sheer will, determination, study, and practice. He could have been like Qui-Gon in following the force if his master hadn't taken from him one interesting thing is Mace Windu seems more positive towards Anakin in Episode 2 saying he has exceptional skills but in top 4 he is presenting Anakin's arrogance. The Wampa is higher than most of the sequel characters lol.

They handled them all very poorly, only Adam was able to take that horrible script in TLJ anf make his character enjoyable. Besides him i was pretty upset that Oscar n John characters were wasted when they had a lot of potential. I do put a lot of blame on KK for making a director switch when JJs trilogy was looking very appealing after TFA
