My favourite is probably the interval act of Madcon in Eurovision 2010. It was really iconic and it showcased how Eurovision unites people all around Europe for one night

That's a really great one too! Nice shout!

I really wish you could feature the clarinet-licking guy from 1962 in this just so that I can hear you trash talk about it and place it all the way in the bottom of the tier list.

Love Love Peace Peace is obviously an eternal classic, but my favourite is definitely the 2010 flash mob just because it's one of my earliest memories of Eurovision. Behind those two is Fai Rumore. Recency bias or not, it's one of the interval acts that I have watched so many times. Also, I cried so much that I have to rewatch it once I can see everything clearly lol

Let's be real, if there's one thing every eurovision fan can agree on is that "love love peace peace" is iconic

Riverdance and the impact of it, and the effect it had on Irish music and dance is now taught in Irish Universities

It's honestly incredible to see how great its impact has been

I really enjoyed Madonnas performance -wrong way but still. Fai Rumore was great I would put it really enjoyable normally but arena singing moves it to Eternal Classics. I am not familiar with the ones before 1990ish but Classics would be Riverdance, Apocalyptica, 43 Lenas, Love Love Peace Peace and Fai Rumore for me.

There were a few great ones this year - Diodata, the dance routines, Mika, IL Volo and the dance routine stuff. The final also opened well with Give Peace A Dance and Laura. Elsewhere - Flashmobs, Love Love Peace Peace, Riverdance and the Switch song in Tel Aviv and pretty much everything in Rotterdam last year. Personally I think Verka doing Toy really made the switch song work.

I think Jan Delay in Düsseldorf 2011 was very entertaining. I remember that I was surprised in a positive way, that Germany managed to do a show and an interval act, without being dull. But the best interval act for me personally was the one in Oslo in 2010, when they did the flashmob. That was fun and brought the idea of the ESC on point. But I agree, that Sweden with Love, Love, Peace, Peace in 2016 is a classic, too.

Favorites: Riverdance (1994), Glow (2010), Love Love Peace Peace (2016), Fai Rumore (2022) Big fat no: Madonna (2019) I honestly don't care much about the interval acts. I think it's because my first introduction to them was an awful experience. I was 11, watched my first Eurovision semifinal and was not used to staying up that late on a weekday. And I still remember how I was so tired and bored to death by that drummer group in semi 1 in 2011 and it felt like ages until they were going to reveal the results. (My first introduction was actually Glow in 2010, but the German drummers were my first as an established Eurofan)

I looked up that interval act with the clown. I should not have looked up that interval act with the clown.

I haven't seen all of the interval acts in the Eurovision Song Contest's history, but I can say that out of the ones I've seen, Love Love Peace Peace is my personal favourite for me. It really is a love letter to the Eurovision Song Contest and all the callbacks in it are really fun to see! Plus, Måns and Petra were amazing!! As for my least favourite, it's Madonna and Quavo's performance in 2019. I know I am going with an obvious choice here, but I'm sorry. I hate it. Why does Madonna sing in autotune here? It's a disaster honestly. I also want to know why did they bring Madonna and Quavo to ESC. If they are trying to appeal to the Americans here, I feel like that they could've approached it like they did with Justin Timberlake back in 2016.

Love love peace peace is a classic, a showcase of what eurovision has become. The rooftops was very intetesting at first but quite long, maybe just one song might have made a great opening for an interval act. Israel 2019 and it's song swap was very good too. I would classify most of the acts that you placed in the lower tier as "never to be watched again" or even "should be erased from existance" along with some others that fortunatelly didn't make it to this list. Portugal 2018 was perfection, no crazy lights or fireworks just pure emotion. Maybe not quite an eternal classic as most of Europe didn't understand a word of it, but very near.

With interval acts, I typically enjoy them, but very few are memorable for me.

I disagree as I love the Rooftop Performances. The Wombles were a childhood phenomenon in the UK but yup that sounds pretty crap - doesn't travel well is the kindest you could say.

Yeah, Madonna's interval act was a disaster. I was disappointed with that performance. Diodato on the other hand, was perfect!

Just off the bat with the 22 interval acts, Diodato was perfection. The rest were not bad but just very disappointed with them.
