It's crazy this world, some people have nothing, others way too much.

I’m new to your channel so this is great. Thanks for the video. Do you polish any of your boots or you just let them age as is?
@Kahri_gk3 ай бұрын
Great boot video !!! Son fun to watch. Was just noticing one of the rings you had on looked really cool . It’s silver and looks kinda braided maybe? Not sure how to describe it but was thinking maybe you could do a video on you accessories like rings, necklaces, or other accessories too.?

Only boots we have in common are the Lofgren Engineers, but I like all of your top pics.

Curious have you tried using black shoe polish on the Attractions to preserve the color? When I purchased mine at standard and strange they suggested some people have had success with this.

You can RANK them where'er ye wish, but LOAFERS aren't boots.

I would rather wear shorts than loafers most the time.

Shorts have a ton of vintage cred: British Khaki; preppy madras...

denim jeans in summer is almost strictly miserable, and you're neigh a guy who shies away from chinos, e'en. [which some are lighter weight than others if dealing in modern brands, blah, blah]

I guess the ones that fit better have more pointy toe, which I assume is LESS trad in Engineer Boot style overall.

What are your thoughts on Thursday boots?

Of all your engineers, which ones would you say are the easiest to get on & off? I have the lot 444 attractions-based off your blog-and they require some effort at times.
@almostvintagestyle3 ай бұрын
Probably the Attractions. They're not the most comfortable, but easy to get on and off

Personally if i have to choose between a fast or a long tea core, ill take the fast. I don't want a thick coat of paint on my boots, but acknowledge there is a sweet spot
@gavinmurphy89053 ай бұрын
Teacore leather doesn’t have to be pigmented as far as I know. Some teacore leathers may be, but others dye brown leather black to a certain degree. Don’t quote me on that

I'm curious your opinion on the "matching leathers" topic: lots of folks say that burgundy/color 8/etc match all sorts of clothing colors, but would you say you can pair those colors with black or brown leathers? I'm eyeing a B-3 style jacket from Field Leathers in a reddish/burgundy color as a nice middle ground. I'm thinking it'll pair well with either blue or black denim, as well as black or brown boots, but I'm curious your take.

i get the not liking teacore. thankfully, you can polish them up with some quality shoe polish. but then you lose that general worn in look... pros and cons i guess.
@strengthandbulkMadness3 ай бұрын
Shoe polish won’t do much. Leather dye is what’s needed.
@bigvisk11253 ай бұрын
@@strengthandbulkMadness to each their own, i can keep mine nice and black with some saphir cream in black. perhaps at some point in the future you would have to dye them to bring them all the way back

Looks like you don't use shoe trees. Is it bc you like toe spring? I personally can't stand when the toes curl, but i understand some do.

love your content. but please don’t use fake. you know if you love the products brand new or vintage pieces whatever,,, and use the word like japanese craftsman ship. there is always behind scenes who made the products with passion and respect. Fender custom shop makes relic pieces, Levi’s makes vintage looking pieces, people makes style like 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s. we can creat whatever we like with passion/respect and it’s not fake. i think it’s same as your KZbin contents. if someone said it’s fake how you feel
