What level of hockey should a youth hockey player play if the ultimate goal is the NHL?

Focus on getting better every day. One day at a time, its too hard to tell ass when you hit u18 level a lot changes for players. Ideally you would play U18 AAA as a 16 year old and move up to Juniors as a true rookie.

The method is not bad. Seems to me that If a previously committed player goes to another team before beginning his college career and leaves a bit of his mojo behind, that team earned it, whether they placed the player or not.

Lots of d3 commits. But only 5 D1 commits in 2024. The premier level kids (16s)get good number of D1 commits and more than th e NCDC. NCDC has an image problem. D1 skilled kids on most teams but no colleges looking here is our experience.

Why do you call this a ranking? Its just a list of teams. A ranking would imply a number order from most commits to least.
