Liverpool 18-19 goes under the radar but it’s honestly one of the most impressive achievements in PL history. They were the only team in PL history that accumulated over 90 points while also winning the UCL in the same season. No other PL team has managed to do it. It’s better than Man United’s 07-08 season when you look at it objectively.

As an arsenal fan they were nowhere close to the best PL side ever. At a bare minimum they're behind both city 17/18 - 18/19 and Liverpool 18/19 -19/20, but its the best achievement ever in PL era for me. Maybe I'm bias, but look at Liverpool in 19/20, they had dropped 2 points over halfway through the season, and randomly get battered by watford. Similarly man united in 10/11 vs wolves, and city 17/18 vs liverpool. No team has even gotten remotely close. The discrediting of the invincibles in this comment section is so dissapointing

Tom makes a lot of good points but a lot of it is lot in the narrative. Yes they drew 12 games but a lot of them were towards the last 10 games of the season when they had already wrapped up the league and we’re playing to go invincible, they still managed to win the league by 9 points over a Ferguson United side and a strong Chelsea/ Liverpool. People also seem to think they were shit in the cups that year. Simply not the case. Semi finals of both the League and FA Cup whilst making the Champions League quarters. If you’re taking that into account alongside going 38 games in the league that season unbeaten it’s a monumental achievement
