The biggest issue is how they award contribution. You should gain contribution from taking enemy tiles, destroying enemy forts, etc. Cleaning enemy tiles is a huge part of the strategy and because it awards no contribution, many simply skip that step and keep attacking forward while those playing strategically are penalized.

Welcome Back ATME! I'm so happy to see you posting again. I agree with your list for the most part. Personally I think the experience scrolls should be Balrog tier. They really help a lot. As to the fellowship boost system, it is a nice addition but it's very hard for a small group to get it going with the player's limited to 20 until they can level up. They just need to adjust it in the first 24 hours so our friends aren't out in the cold for so long.

For Midsummer Jaunt, I think it's gonna have a big event finale after those 7 days, no? At least that's the vibe I got from reading what characters say when you deliver them letters. Looks like there's gonna be some kind of "summer potluck" event at the end. Hopefully it's better than all those event chests we've been getting lately

when i got back to the game, the one that surprised me the most was the new friendship system. i absolutely hate it.

I don't understand why they droped rewards in the battlepass. Is it just me or is 100k players paying $100 is much better for the game than 1k paying $100k. If I was responsible for the Tolkien brand, I would sue to pull the license. The events are trash, high value packs gone, what is next? I understand the game has to make money to keep running, but create value and incentive to buy. Not lower gear drop rates and cut out rewards from the season pass. The 0.77% gold gear is a joke and a slap in the face to players.

What do you think about the state of this game and Heroes of Middle Earth? Is there still enough happening in the games and enough players for it to be fun? Do you think the games are f2p friendly or is it basically whale wars?

I don't think it's whale wars lol. There will always been whales, but I think RtW is more about teamwork, and for HoMe it's really early to know for sure where it will go, but I am enjoying it so far!

I am VERY worried about the neutral unit hall. Evil factions ALWAYS having access to dunlendings is FRIGHTENING

I think ITS okay BECAUSE good PLAYERS CAN pull GOOD strats with neutral UNITS too

Neutral Unit hall is really bad for RP servers. Giving Evil access to Dunlandings and Oathbreakers all of the time tips the balance even further in their favour. Evil is definitely outperforming good right now in RP servers with Khaldoon and Sunind being so strong (Yes I know good has more numbers but strong eveil teams are signifcantly harder to fight than strong good side teams currently).

Yeah, I agree mate. They should just copy paste dunlendings in some fasion for good. As far as it goes. We have 2 or 3 frenzy Khaldoons We literally just have to let rampage and clean up after. No thanks. Give me good any day of the week.

Its nice to ba able to hire true the fellwoship, but i see it as evil gains most form it. You dont need many War drummers,dunedain and oathbreakers. While good side do not have any support units or untility units.

Yeah I think they need to balance that out somehow, maybe by adding some good side support units like a banner carrier or something that functions as a war drummer
