I don't believe Keji needs a nerf. While he may seem strong in Showdown, he's far less dominant in 3v3 modes, especially against tanky brawlers or high-damage dealers. There are several clear counters to him, including Otis, Griff, Shelly, Bull, Darryl, Leon (with full ammo), Meg, Jester, Cord with damage starpower and Mute gadget. Additionally, Surge players and Buzz can also be effective against him. If Keji were to receive a nerf, he could easily become underpowered, which would be unfortunate because he is a very fun brawler to play. Making him less enjoyable or effective would be disappointing, and might even lead to frustration. Even now, he can be frustrating to use if the enemy team picks the right counters, so imagine how much worse that would be if he was nerfed. I think the community just needs more time to adapt and learn how to counter him. His super has a predictable pattern that can be dodged, and remember, Keji respawns in the location where he used his super, making him vulnerable to an easy takedown if you're prepared. It's more of a situational balance issue rather than him being overpowered. For example, look at how Mico was once considered overpowered but is now seen as less threatening. Any small nerf to Keji could make him weak, and any small buff could make him too strong. Right now, I believe he is well-balanced. I've had games where I dominated, and others where I lost 40 matches in a row simply because the enemy picked the right counters. Keji is also harder to use effectively in 3v3 modes. If anyone deserves a nerf, it's Mortis. But I strongly feel that Keji doesn't need one.
