Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, when she is in her Chibi form she slobbers all over Ichigo and heals him with her mouth. But when she transforms, she is a buxom beauty. How am i supposed to feel about Hot Nel Slobbering O.o ..It just hits different than most other transformations.

Unahana, Aizen, Isshin and Yamamoto (robed vs barechested) all showcase how small details can make the same character seem completely different. Hollow Ichigo, wounded shell Aizen, and Baragan are the best transformations. Baragon sold us on the numbering system. Ichigo changed the stakes. The flaws in the transformation kept the transformation from being a dud.

Two of my honourable mentions would be Askin and Nnoitra's transformations. Both of them are quite simplistic, but very sleek and cool-looking. Plus, I think they fit their wielders extremely well. Out of all the main groups in Bleach, I would say the Espada have the best transformations. Kubo really did a fantastic job with their designs, and it is a large part of why they are so iconic, IMO!

Another thing I like about Ulquiorra's pair of releases is that they're a set that goes along with his themeing. His first release was so controversial that some people think Kubo pulled the second release out as a do-over, but I don't think that's the case. Ulquiorra's full name is Ulquiorra Cifer, with his surname being a reference to Lucifer-- the fallen angel. His first release has an angelic theme, and his second has a demonic one.

I have a lot to say about this video... 1. Well done, yet again for continuously finding ways to keep us engaged with bleach. You're videos are so creative while at the same time capitalising on all the things that make bleach special 2. I love the fact that your rankings have a way of allowing different characters to take the top spots where simple power rankings would have us seeing the same characters over, and over again. I have such a deep love for Starrk and I know he's not the most popular character, but it genuinely warmed my heart to see him in the top 3 for a list 🥰. And that kinda brings me to my third point... 3. Imagine Starrk in the Hell Arc?!?! If Bleach's hell is a place that draws out an individual's primal instincts, then we might actually get to see Starrk at his most powerful and unrestricted, which is such a cool thing to imagine. And it just makes me even more excited about the full potential of the Hell Arc... Just imagine an even more unhinged and depraved Unohana, Yamamoto, Gin, Ulquiorra... In fact, one more point 4. An idea for a video if you find it interesting: What characters would be the most dangerous if they made a return in Hell? 👀

I really love your last two points. The undead captains will be far more powerful than before. Yamamoto reverting to his old ways along with a new hell power up is insane. I think yamamoto and ulquiorra would definitely be some of the most dangerous combatants to return in hell

Bleach imo has the coolest, sickest designs. My favorite across all of manga personally. Mugetsu Ichigo is my personal favorite, and if Dangai and Fullbringer Tensa Zangetsu (Bankai) count then those as well. I love Murciélago Ulquiorra and Aizen’s Hogyuku forms too

If we do get a hell arc and Ulquiorra is the second in command other than Satan. I hope Grimjow fights Ulquiorra and releases not only a second Etapa but a third etapa to become the new King of Hueco Mundo: But i cant quite think of a Theme that Grimjow could have as a final form. HE was "pantera" and had shred, but he also hated the way ichigo looked at him. He said he hated those "eyes"...So it might be interesting how disdain comes into play . Final forms are usually a primal force that anchors the character to a power that can scale depending on the situation or the enemy that keeps pushing them higher and higher. Meaning a final form should have no limits except by the limitations of the characters own ability to weild that power. (p.s) i dont consider all bankai a final form nor do i think every soul reaper can achieve the final form due to their own limitations. Rukia is a good example of someone who achieved a final evolution making "cold" her power.

I always thought the Visored specific transformation - donning the mask - was so cool. No big words, just a slight hand movement by the characters and BOOM! I think it's really underrated and one of the ways to add a really cool design element to an already existing character.

Barragan is definitely amazing and the only transformation that actually goes back into his original form before getting a zanpakuto. And although I do agree with the list, and will always love the creepiness of Tousen's hollow transformation into a winged, bug-like creature. And the eerie-ness of him finally being able to use his eyes. His calm demeanor shifts into this errogant, badmouthing character. He literally becomes blind to his ideals once he gains sight and you can see the shock and frustration from his friend, Komamura.

I don't think I could ever really rank transformations without being biased towards certain characters, but I think Ichigo's original bankai transformation should have been on this list somewhere. He goes from traditional shinigami appearance to a sleek and uniformly black/red outfit. It's like a one-piece shihakusho combined with the lower half of a traditional one, and it's simplistic and sleek at the same time. It's also iconic during his fight with Byakuya, it practically represents pure speed with how he moves wearing it. That, and his bankai is also incredibly simplistic too, being solid black to match the exterior. (Now that I think about it, it's very similar to White's initial appearance, almost completely cloaked in black.) And although it's not a transformation, I think sleeveless Ichigo at the end of TYBW's first cour looks fantastic. Gives him that look that Shuhei Hisagi and a few others have.

I personally dislike the character, and his release form, ubt I guess I do find some value in it as it was the very first time we got to see Ichigo go toe to toe against a released espada, and in this case, it being none other than Grimmjow himself. Having said that, again, it's an iconic character, it is very relevant and it brought progress to the story, but I still don't like it.

I love Rukias Bankai. We know pretty early on that she's a very capable fighter but it's quite long after that she finally is able to step up to that because the enemies scale off of Ichigo. Only through Bankai she gets that boost of power the story calls for. And it matches her so perfect. It elevates the grace and beauty of her Shikai, while playing in on her aristocratic and somewhat arrogant behavior from the beginning of the series. For me, Hakka no togame is the one Bankai that fits their wielder better than any other Bankai in the series does.

I personally enjoyed Ulquiorra's first release, in both looks and the way Kubo offered it, by first allowing us to see the wings before we get to see him, is a way that contrasts with how Byakuya was disappointed and even insulted by Ichigo's first bankai. But the, as we all know, it wasn't ever about that. Now, Ulquiorra doesn't change that much but the impact it has on us isn't supposed to be visual, but by simply being aware of the fact that the one who just released his zanpakutou is none other than the one who has already taken Ichigo down, or even killed him, if you will, without any sort of effort. Letting the whole visual impact created by the wings at the beginning fade away and slowly beginning to realise, that in fact Ulquiorra has just released. Which is what we see when Ichigo stops questioning Ulquiorra's looks and decides to raise his sword in stance.

I hope you get to read this one, since I spend an unreasonable amount of sleep time thinking extremely hard about a video that didn’t even seem to interest THAT much. Then I’ve spent the entire video completely and utterly absorbed, having to rewind, even several times, because I was weighing the arguments you presented, while obviously unaware of the actual pace. Here’s what I’ve come up with: 11 - X-Axis. Originally I just didn’t like his appearance, but seraphim from god you reference made me like it enough to make a list. 10 - Zaraki, totally agree. 9 - Kommamura, you totally convinced me, I never gave this fight much thought, but the significance of his sacrifice builds it a lot 8 - los lobos. Disappointment over his flexibility and either lack of more power or will to use it 7- Easy Ichida, I steel remember the emotions I felt watching, too bad we couldn’t see just a tad more. 6- dangai ichigo, obviously “cool”, edgy, immense power but acts like it doesnt care, its just kinda have been done a few times 5- As nodt, maybe if I could watch animated it would be a bit higher, not sure. 4-Hollow ichigo, the impact of seeing him utterly eviscerate a powerful central enemy who had just been through 2 transformations is amazing 3- Ulquiorra, always liked the character, hated the ressurection, segunda etapa was all I could have asked 2- rukia’s bankai, just so elegant, instant perfect transformation 1- Barragan, one of the main reasons I agreed was actually his zampakuto name being one of the coolest for me, and that couldn’t suit him more. If you stuck around, sorry for the lenght, I’ve gotta catch up to about 1.5 hours of sleep atm.

Thank you for putting some respect on the *King of Huecco Mundo.* Your list is *VERY* much identical to mine. Barragan's death was such a waste of a character. He should have been locked and sealed away in the Muken for a vital role in the Quincy arc. Same thing with Starrk and I'll never understand how Harribel manages to get healed and live while Starrk doesn't despite not being hostile. Would have definitely aided Shunsui and been powerful with a second release since Starrk never fought seriously. Yhwach feared death and wanted to change that by combining the worlds. It would have *VERY* befitting if Barragan was involved in the final fight with Yhwach, Aizen and Ichigo since he is the spitting image of death along with the fear of aging. The potential of an arc dedicated to Barragan's past along with Ikomikidomoe would have been also great.

There are so many good transformations in Bleach, 2 of my favorite that didn’t make the list are 1) Renji’s true bankai So-oh Zabimaru (also listed under “cool” in the dictionary), and 2) Grimmjow’s Pantera Resurrection, which was just stunning and at the time the most anticipated form in the story. Renji might be my own bias admittedly, but Grimmjow definitely deserves a spot on the list no question.

Like all those, but i would mention 2 more: - From all of arrancars we can't forget about Grimmjow, his Pantera is so fitting to the character... - As we talked about bankai... old man Yamamoto bankai and turing head Captain into living torch.... this was especialy made perfect by animation team... the way flames disappear and later reappear... :) Now i get it - not much clothes/outfit change on Yamamoto (altough wearing a suit made of flames can be threated as "transformation")

Ichigo's final transformation in his final he fight against Aizen is always NUMBER 1 to me. It's crazy how Kubo never further explored this transformation. Like this could've easily be reintroduced in Ichigo's final fight with Ywach. Now that Ichigo has a firm understanding of who he is, he would not only have a much finer control over his shingami powers in this form, but he could also combine his hollow and quincy powers with it.

Aizen's Final Form looked lame & ridiculous to me. The sleek Chrysalis Form was great, although Butterflaizen ruined the epicness of Mugetsu. Kubo could have made Aizen actually look epic when being torn apart by the Final Getsuga Tensho, yet didn't.

@@WaterKirby1994 I’d say that the aizen from midway through deicide, post chrysalis but pre flyzen, was his best transformation (although his normal designs are still better) Chrysalis aizen looked kind of plain to me, and i didn’t like that lump at the back of his head. Flyzen was pretty stupid, but honestly his last form with the black skull wasn’t that bad to me. He looked like he went through a hollow mutation, and i found that really interesting. But hey, to each their own

@@torkscrew My problem with Black Skull Flyzen, is the 3 Holes, which runs contrary to what we knew of hollows in addition to looking kind of silly. The holes are supposed to be a Hollow's Heart, why the heck does Aizen have 3 of them? Also White is Aizen's Definitive Color for better contrast against the Blackness of Shinigami & most notably Mugetsu Ichigo. Chrysalis Aizen was a basic Hollowfied form not too different from what we saw up to that point. Actually on rewatch the initial humanoid with Butterfly wings form still kind of felt like Aizen. Maybe the real problem is that none of Aizen's later forms could hold a candle to his Rogue Captain Look & Kubo didn't try 1 iconic epic final form to rival it & last through a volume long fight. Ichigo's new forms got all the resources rather than Aizen's when it came to development.

Personally, I really didn't like Kenpachi's Bankai transformation because it goes against how Bankai are established to work. No Bankai in the history of the series has phonically morphed the wilder, save for Ichigo's true Bankai. Bankai is the manifestation of a Zonpakyto's true unrestrained nature, so they either create a field that affects an area or conjurers a construct. Up until this point, physical transformations were restricted to outfit changes. The physical transformation of the body is supposed to be a unique trait of the Arrancar, or Quincy who use Volstandig to alter the reishi of their body. That's how I always saw it at least.

Voltsung (#8) was meant to be a more accurate angel based on the descriptions in the Bible. Also, Ichigo's hybrid end form hollow/tensa zangetsu form was first introduced when Ichigo was trying to learn the final getsuga before fighting Aizen

Man, I'm surprised Horn of Salvation isn't even on this list. That's number 1 for me if I'm honest. Not only does it just look awesome to me, but what it represents is also displayed so well. It's supposed to be the culmination of everything Ichigo has achieved, and I don't really know how else it could have been done.

its edgy but its good edgy i like how its just a form for ulquiorra, i think he always planned a 2nd form. to explain how hes actually strongest, and also its like shikai>bankai resurreccion>ulquiorra form(arrancar bankai) i think the opposite is true, he never got around to revealing or designing other arrancars 2nd forms

I genuinely think Ulquiorra’s second resurrección release “Segunda Etapa”, & also Grimmjow’s resurrección “Pantera” are both the absolute coolest designs & transformation forms I’ve ever seen in all of anime. Truly all of anime lol.. they are just so damn badass, sleek, unique & cool looking that you can’t help but be enthralled by them & find them to be so awesome! Especially Segunda Etapa in my opinion.. it’s just so damn cool, the best character/villain design ever in my opinion.

I totally agree with Barragan's Resurrección! I love Espada's humans design, but when it comes to Resurrecciones, Barragan it's just the best above all, also, he might be the coolest skull I've seen in any media.

My personal favorite is easily Sengunda Etapa Ulquiorra. From the design to the story and how it was introduced at the right moment to show us ans to ichigo despair. I also love Letz still Uryu! Then we have Mugetsu, looks amazing but imo it was such a bad writting and deus ex (the zangetsu’s and zanpankuto theme behind it is cool don’t get me wrong but the power up felt so « out of nowhere » and never introduced again)

Aizen's is the most telling. The real inner monster revealed. Ichigo going absolutely berserk in Hueco Mundo is the most terrifying since no one is safe, not even his own friends.

I love the symbolism of Aizen's monster form. That the man who rules over the Hollows, who all have masks covering their faces, ends up showing that his human face was HIS mask, is some great visual storytelling.

ya for Aizen to show his true self/inner monster within in a physical way now, finally, was incredibly symbolic + visual storytelling excellence. you can see why Ichigo pitied someone like him lol. but nevertheless he had a duty to do & admitted he had no regrets using Mugetsu to seal him away/stop him. very Shiba-like to sacrifice it all with no hesitation to protect everyone else

6:40 im amazed that Zaraki was actually able to, *after getting FKD up in bankai* , pierce and hold Gerald's foot after his multiple power ups while being absurdly weaker than before. So his body must have acclimated to a certain level of power.
