The half-winger is interesting if you have a falseback behind. You have more defensive control than with the attacking winger and a counter-attack that is easier to organize with much lower ball losses

I play a 433 with one cdm, and the left center mid (barella) with half winger++ is underrated. When you build up a lot of times the half winger will rotate out wide and not get picked up which is an easy overload on one side

good question, 2 strikers > 3 CM right now Lot of the top formations have only 2 center mids 442 4222 4411

I play one as ball playing and one as defender. One as wing back, one fullback. 2 cdms. Holding. 3 cams. One as half winger, two as playmaker one balanced and one roaming. Advanced striker. Everyone in my team except left back have a + and 2 players including my striker have a ++. I'm up to div 4. Suker maybe helped moving my all Croatia 🇭🇷 RTG up a few divisions

I noticed a bug in CB roles, if you apply 1 of the 2 CBs a "Ball playing" role and the other one just "Defender" role, the other CB is who makes the runs...

I use wide-mid on my RM from the start, just to counter most players who are using inside forward.

I have a 433(4) where I play Bernardo Silva as CAM / Playmaker and he doesn’t have any of those position/roles and still does great for me

should i use defender or stopper on eoae varane, feel like the intercept plus could help him a lot if i use him as a stopper

Appreciate some of it is dependent on the way you play but would be good to see a video describing generally what stats/playstyles are important for each role.

Would you combine false nine with advanced forward on a 4231(2)? Or should a lone striker be a poacher preferably?

I did that before and it depends on the players. If you have players like griezman on false 9 then yes

It for sure depends on the rest of the team I'm good with advanced or poacher in the 4231(2) - but.... I would love to know how supportive the rest of the squad is... if that makes sense

I love wide playmaker with 433(4) formation. It’s not too wide or too narrow like winger comes almost to be number 10. All these depends very much what formation you use. With 442 wide playmakers aren’t that good. If you have someone like Palmer POTM and you play with 442. Then inside forward is good one but I don’t like that player role with 433. one of my questions is and was can you give character creation players rolls wen you want to make a 30 men squad in create a club will you give us this info or is it true on what they say every FC25 supported channel is payed to not give us the info we need

CDM - Deep lying playmaker ++ like Rodri is nuts with Roaming

I like the deep lying playmaker option roaming has been unpredictable imo

@MikeLaBelle It is unpredictable, but someone like Rodri with the ++ joins the atk with his great passing and is always in position to defend as well. I like it with the 4-3-3 defend formation where the CM is box to box and the CDM's are both deep lying. Either way, loving the content brother!

I have tried 5212 but 532 is meta to me everyone stays compact allowing less chance of through balls by intercepting and when attacking is insane but more overall depends on player roles you assign your players to play on

Hey Mike love ya but your “debatable” ranking of Gerd Muller from the other day you should have your fifa license checked 😂! He can score from anywhere, possessing the best finesse shot in the entire game. Dudes a pure rank 1 demon, there’s a very good reason why he’s 1.4 mil + You ignored playmaker at cam which is very underrated, shadow striker isn’t the end all be all. I don’t want my cam to be a “striker” I want my cam to be the distributor and dropping in the midfield to get the ball. The shadow striker plays too far forward from the mids leaving a gap. I can live with both of them being good but you need to try gerd muller before you put him on the debatable/pine with fodder cards.

half winger role can be great. 433(2): LW: IF LCM: Half winger LB: Attacking WB the half winger covers for the gap left by the fullback and creates overloads on the wing easily when the winger drifts in
