I am an Inter fan and I can say this tactic is only effective in Serie A because this league is very focused on tactics. If the coach says to mark a certain player then it will actually continue to be marked until it is finished . This is the basic of Inzaghi's crazy position switch tactic to disguised opponent marking and create a space

I have a tactic that is undefendable. One guy will dribble and the rest of the team will form a circle wall around him and move together so opponents cannot get the ball.

A reminder that this style of play works because they have the right players to do it. You can't use CBs like that unless they are technique gifts like Bastoni/Pavard and they are training Bisseck/Palacios to follow that path. Before that they had Skinirat who was a great defender but poor with his feet, noone thought Inter could play without him but here we are. Same for Calhanoglu and Mkhitaryan who trained themselves to defensive skills.

Limone was quite similar to his older brother in terms of playing style - that one-touch play strikers that hang around opponent's offside trap. It's just he wasn't as ecstatic as his older bro. He was tall at that time period for a striker (Limone was 185-186 cm, Pippo around 5 cm shorter) but not as strong as his height suggests, although he often used that this height advantage to his favor.

Everything here makes so much sense. It's almost natural if you get it. Like if you know your teammates you almost don't even have to explain what the next move is if you understand the basic concept. But as an opposing player who is in the middle of it, it's difficult to realize at least for a split second who is coming at you and what they are trying to exploit until it's too late.

The two midfielders always center giving pass options. The number 10s dropping down to break lines and release on the wingers or switch sides.

The video maker said, long term work on physical and mental. United have zero player with such quality. Inter players are all top players since age of 17. I have been playing football manager since 98/99. All current Inter players are high on potential ability since very young age. Salah was good with Basel. Do you know who was Basel GK that time? Second....versatility. Inter players are all versatile. Can play multiple position without any big problem. Ruben Amorim will fail. He doesnt have what he needs to play his style.

As an Inter fan, I have never seen Inter playing such a great football. Inzaghi's system is just crazy good. One of the thing that always amazes me is the amount of chances we are able to create having basically no good dribblers in the team (expect for Marcus Thuram), indeed according to the data we are one of the teams in the Serie A that dribbles less.

Hansi do buildups too but he depend on how his opponent plays. What differentiate Hansi from other coaches is that he uses multiple tactics to achieve one single goal like launching of offensive attack, when his opponent press high he either uses pivots to help or number 10 player to assist in receiving the ball or he use flanks to attacks by his fullbacks. If opponent doesn't to do pressings, Hansi wants his CBs to launch long balls either to number 10 or one of his front attackers. By the way Hansi prefer one of his CBs to be right footed(RCB) and LCB to be left footed.
