I wish the lucky spaces would disappear after you step on them once just like VS spaces. That would make relatively high number of them justified and make more sense as "lucky" spaces because whoever steps on them first would be the "lucky" one since they would disappear afterwards.

Lucky spaces aren’t that bad for the economy. What destroyed the economy in superstars was the coin mini games that gave you up to 60+ coins and don’t forget the double 20 coin mini games

Character dice blocks and partners I honestly think are both really cool, and while it doesn’t seem they’ll return. I wish they would, but in a separate mode. Same with partner party, I loooove that.

I really liked the custom duce blocks, made the characters feel more distinct rather than just look

I’m super excited for Koopathlon since I loved Coinathlon in Star Rush, and I’m imagining any mini games in that mode will just be for that mode. The boards all look really interesting, and I’m especially excited for retro boards. And I’m usually good just sticking with DK, but the sheer variety of characters is great- if someone else wants DK, I can play as a Goomba or Spike. I’m hopeful for Pauline and Diddy to give me more DK related characters, but as is, the roster looks super good. I can’t think of any concerns. This game just looks real good and like it learned all the right lessons from Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars.

Really hoping prices fluctuate based on placement. If you’re last mid/late into the game a golden pipe would be cheaper than if you were in 1st

12:00 If It will work like in superstars Im cool with that. Winner 10 coins, 2nd place 3 coins,3th place 2 coins, 4th place 0 coins. Much better than in super mario party where even 4th place would get coins and everyone always had plenty of coins no matter how they did in minigames because even losing minigames got you coins not to mention everything was too cheap. The issue in superstars was when there was occasionally event with 2x coins and there was coin minigame. You could get insane amount of coins from that.

Regarding the X2 coins it's because it was scheduled each 5 turns (Turn 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25).

OK GUYS THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST NEWS YET, SO, Earlier Nintendo Posted a video about this game showing 6 characters, my theory is that there will be 4 video’s showing 6 characters each, which means we will have a roster of 24, which means that we will get 3 characters announced, but of course, thats just a theory, A GAME THEORY!

I find it strange that I haven't heard anyone talking about the different colored toads and shy guys that can be seen in Roll 'em Raceway. Personally, I find this super excited because my main is yellow toad.

Great ranking and discussions! Personally, I'm hyped for practically everything and have almost no concerns as based on everything we've seen it really looks like the best of both Super and Superstars - there are some aspects that could be even better as mentioned throughout the video, yes, but overall I think Jamboree has the potential of being one of the best Mario Party games ever, I'm so looking forward to seeing/hearing more about it and I really can't wait to play it (on my own and of course also together with you and others here and elsewhere if possible) when it comes out!

It’s important to remember that most of NDCube actually composes of former Hudson soft employees so they’ve got much of the same talent that made the older mario parties. I’d say they probably needed a few games to properly find their groove again after constantly changing the formula for so long which is why I have faith that they’ll finally get it right this time.

Im so hyped for this game and love everything I have seen of it so far. No real concerns at all apart from as you mentioned the custom dice blocks and partner mechanics from super mario party hopefully they have gone, and more variety of spaces unlike the last couple of games. Overall the boards and the minigames are what I’m most excited for. Already have the game on pre order cannot wait😊❤️

I think my only concern is how many games need joy cons to play. I don’t mind if there are like 20 that need them, but me and my friends play Mario party a lot on pro controllers and we would have to buy more joy cons as a lot of us got drift in ours. i dont want to miss out on half the mini games because they all require joycons to use

The only thing thats preventing this from possibly being the best mario party ever is no 8 player mode on board play and no team mode on board play.

@@Swiftjar 8 player mode was actually in mario party 7 not 8. But still its super fun and 8 player mode would make it an ultimate party game. If nothing else at least team mode should be on board play even if only 4 players. I want to play with friend against randoms online on boards.

@@callinater6133 It wasnt great mainly because of the limitation of 2 players having to share controller and that also limited what minigames could be used in 8 player mode. This wouldnt be an issue on switch because it could simply work with 8 controllers and also a lot more variety of minigames could be used. In fact super mario party had 16 player minigames(team minigames) but ofc only 4 players were real people and remaining 12 were cpu. Youre telling me bumber brawl from super mario party wouldnt be fun with 8 players?

@@Marko-ij4vy the fact is, it wouldn’t be needed for it to be the best mario party to date considering that an 8 player mode in the form you’re suggesting has never existed in the franchise. And sorry to say, but it would honestly suck. You would spent a lot more time waiting for everyone to have a turn and the pacing would suffer a lot as a result, and having everyone move at the same time in order to compensate for that would fundamentally change how the game works and isn’t really worth figuring out as opposed to just making the classic set up as good as it can be. Furthermore, I feel like the minigame set would have to be completely separate from the regular set, as needing to design every minigame to support up to 8 players would actually limit what they could do more than it would allow, and at that point you’d probably have a mode with a lacking amount of mini games like bowser party simply because it’s not the focus of the game.

Im just glad this game won't be lacking content like Super and Superstars cause they easily could have done the bare minimum again and be like hey it's Mario Party its gonna sell, no matter what but thankfully with Jamboree that's not the case
