Saying Rill lost to Yuno is pretty incorrect. He didn’t lose the battle of strength and magic. He lost the match as he broke his own crystal with his immense magic and was having fun, while Yuno was trying his hardest.

It's incorrect in the sense that Rill did not lose an actual battle against Yuno. It's correct in that he lost to Yuno with the rules of the match. When it comes to ranking who is stronger than who, the former matters more than the latter.

I sincerely hope William awakens his world tree magic on some arcane some kind of level, through the qliphoth's partial advent. World tree magic in black clover always seemed like a combination magic of some kind, similar to Gepards black earth magic. Sure Williams world tree magic can utilise others peoples mana unlike regular tree magic, but i always hoped for some spatial magic aspect as well, were you could like, teleport through the world roots or something.

It should be worth noted that Kaiser's age is a likely a factor in his power. At 49 years old, Kaiser is the oldest captain, as well as older than Julius. In the Black Clover world, magic power fades with age, unlike what would usually be the case in other shonen. Kaiser could have been much stronger in his younger days, and then maybe at around 45 his power began to decline. It's hard to know how strong Kaiser would be in his prime since we have not seen him in flashbacks, but that begs the question of where he would be in this list if he were still in his prime? Is there a way to calculate or predict?

You can still get stronger while getting older. Theresa states that YOUR magic gets weaker with age but your ability to use natures mana can keep growing. This is proven by him being stronger in the timeskip.

No. She lost because his magic could effect intangible concepts. He would still need to have the power to defeat her dreams too. So basically Moris negs one of her advantages, but no reason to assume she’d win otherwise

Also Charlotte has almost no way to escape glamour world. Yami had to slice her dimension in half. Even if Charlotte was smart enough to use the method that Sally came up with in the Elf arc, Dorothy would already know that weakness and avoid thinking about the exit. I seriously enjoyed ur video. I would put William lower at the end of the day he hasn’t shown to be a swordmen he just made a sword for Yami. And William is in the same boat as Mereleona were it takes time to get stronger. Since we don’t have any real speed feats from him either my list would be 10. Kaiser 9. Dorothy 8. Charlotte 7. Jack 6. Rill 5. William (until more feats from him is shown) 4. Nozel 3. Fuegoleon 2. Mereleona(at the end of the day she has the best endurance and drive to keep fighting. The excuse that she won’t have her strength wouldn’t matter since she’s fought Fuego before and knows how he fights. In the end unless can be proven that Fuego can speed blitz Mereleona and take her out before she increases her power Mereleona wins every time. 1. Undisputed champ Yami

Mereleona is the pinnacle of what it means to hone your skills to the limit and then surpass it every time just my opinion but again when he gets spirit dive/saint stage then we can talk about relative strength

My list is Yami has feats against lucifero Merlo has feats against lucifero somewhat and worm devil Nozel has feats against Meg Jack beat 80 Percent dante scales to 100 percent somewhat and the twins Rill has scaling to 100 percent vanica and meg and tanked multiple attacks Charlotte went against vanica at 100 percent beat two amped shining general with help and is relative to Meg somewhat Fugeloan somewhat damaged worm devil while on his knees William fought zenon while handing capped Dorothy has really no feats Kasier slow downed ancient demon

I object when it comes to Dorothy because the only reason why yami was able to beat her is that he had magic that was able to counter he .the dream world is infinite and yami had dimension slash to counter and don't forget that they where not fighting to kill each other but to win n we saw her relaxed and not going even serious against yami.Remember that she also has the ability to read minds inside the dream world and looking at the type of magic the other captains have they can't escape the dream world and won't be able to touch her because of her shield.This is the power of imagination bro whatever she thinks it will happen and again l say the other captains don't have spells to escape dream world and they will lose

Jack didn't took any damage from lilith as a matter of fact he was just frozen. The only damges he took were from dante and nact was too caught off guard by the twin devils and still dodges them. Also morris didn' t make dante stronger he just make his regeneration abilities fater power wise he didn't get a boost in power before the 100 %. Also william swrd really didn'tdo anything special so that can't be used as a feat tellin william is equal to Yami until we learn if he also received the devil heart as well

I think there is still lack of experience and ability to manage people in both Asta and Yuno. They can be stronger, but they aren't captains yet because they haven't proven themselves to be anything EXCEPT being strong.

I believe William definitely has more magic power compared to Yami. There was a comparison he did once, with nozel and the midnight eye guys. Nozel was way above him in the drawings. Time HAS passed but I figure his mana levels didn’t surpass William yet since he also trained and is a royal.

Jack should be able to adapt to both Valhalla and the Valkyries I’d see him adapting to it and just cutting Valhalla in half and he was able to keep up with mereoleona in speed so I’d say jack over rill until rill shows some speed feats and jack adapted to gravity rills magic should be easy

You have to remember that dorothy only lost on a technicality and the plot due to morris SPECIFICALLY having magic that counters intangible concepts so its natural that she lost and yes other captains would win in this instance as they have physical manifestations of magic eg flame, briars, mercury however dorothy's magic is all intangible and passive meaning she would be at a loss, so this fight is not useful or valid to scale her.

@@Br0ku the fact that there's no evidence to suggest that william is relative post Dante/zenon fights respectively, zenon never stated William would have beaten him he simply said he would have stood a better chance, yami on the other hand was fighting completely evenly with Dante until he became fatigued due to Dante's body magic, furthermore you state some bullshit about how you can't assume whether or not mereoleona maintains the power from hellfire incarnate despite it being a technique of her own creation and thus one she can replicate, fuego can't match her power as she's show to be equal to him if not superior when in base (whilst he has spirit amp mind you). Another factor is that you say William would get a similar buff to yami post rescue despite the fact that he's crippled whilst yami goes on to perform the best against lucifero out of all the captains (followed by mereoleona who doesnt get taken out by him she just starts losing her power due to excess mana usage over an extended period of time). William is featless. Mereoleona is evidently superior to fuego. I'd place William at below both the siblings, maybe above fuegoleon if you highballed him. He's not touching the other 2

Even though I said that the ranking depends on interpretation. And there is no logical proof that Mereoleona keeps the gained power. I don't think you understood. I never said that Mereleona can't use Hellfire Incarnate again. I said that there's no proof that after coming out of HI, and then activating it later on, that she starts at the same exact power she left off with. Since the basis of HI is "The longer it's active the hotter it gets" which means the longer it's active the stronger she gets too. but, if she reverts to base, then she's colder, so unless if you provide evidence as to why she keeps her gains in the form, Fuegoleon would stomp. Because he scaled to a HI Mereo who was much stronger than when she first activated it. Yami only was able to get up because he got a beyond-healing from Grey. William didn't get healed so he couldn't fight. William was just as strong as Yami pre-Qliphoth. Both underwent the same process, while William is more attuned for absorbing magic than Yami. So yes, can very logically say William would have equal magic power to Yami, thus placing him at #2.

William is a defensive fighter not an Offensive like Yami, Jack and Mereoleona. Also remember Mereoleona was toying with Yami when he came to learn Mana Zone and the fight wasn't even close. Fuegoleon currently is still below Mereoleona but Salamander picks who will become the strongest fire user. He will surpass Mereoleona one day but as of now he doesn't.

Mareleona got one shot by lucifero even after powering up.Yami in base tanked a punch from him.At full power take hits from full power lucifero.Yami is way above her.As for fuelgon was able to slow down womb of 100%lucifero which is far beyond magicula.

As with many series you can debate the top rankings. Yamuna has stated already that the royals have more mana than him. Not to say he isn’t top 4. Meroena is stronger than all the captains. Yam I can’t defeat her. She has too much magic and stamina for him to win.

Come to think of, he never actually defeated someone noteworthy by himself like nozel or fuego, or mereo who killed an ancient demon and made it look easy, as well as overlasting the other amped captains against lucifero not to mention everything she has done in the previous arc. Yami struggled with charla ffs while she was against five apostles and did pretty good. I think you overestimate yami too much , there's no way in hell he beats her, or any royal captain. The storytelling make's it very clear

Yami struggled against Mereoleona when he came to her to learn Mana Zone. He was trying to stay alive cause he thought she was going to kill him. She was literally toying around with him at that point. So yes Mereoleona is stronger than Yami.
