Yeah definitely Chen Yiwen is the best English speaker among these five athletes. I actually did notice that she had a natural and friendly interaction with her counterpart, the Australian girl who won the silver medal. She was just fabulous and loved by her fellow competitor 🥰

英語普通話拼音是Ying Yu, 冠軍普通話是Guan Jun, 中國普通話是Zhong Guo. 英國牛津是英語發音的標準，澳洲運動員說"day" 時口音太重，美國運動員口沒張大發音不清。

这么说就小肚鸡肠了，本集在说英文水平，并没有在比较中英文使用情况。英语是使用最广泛的，好学；中文是说的人最多的，难学；如果一定要选一种作为交流的肯定是英文。

这个视频内容放在国内平台大概率要被骂（抬杠）。毕竟这是个英文教学频道，其实做这样的比较其实是没有问题的。重点是，我国的网球运动员很多走职业化路线是个人要上千万的费用投入，这其中大部分是私教和巡回比赛，这项运动的英文交流非常重要；游泳和乒乓球运动员还能这样流畅的英文，那是个人自身对自己的要求了，没有这么强烈的必须性，反而显得这几位运动员的自律和学习能力。另外，类比的是很多外籍乒乓球运动员（福原爱为首，和安赛龙为特例）因为项目的原因需要需要中文。

Zheng Si Wei & Huang Ya Qiong, Jia Yifan & Cheng Qing Chen..all of them won gold medals...and won Every badminton titles in existing (literal legends) ! Pan Zhan Le who broke world record twice in the span of 6 months. And Malong the Goat. All of them have humble personalities and never lose focus despite the fame

网球运动员的英语水平普遍都很好，在中国网球项目不是举国体制，厉害的网球运动员都选择单飞，个人组建团队全世界参赛，团队成员很多都是来自各个不同国家。除了极少数的几个中国球员，基本上没有看到过英语说的很差的网球运动员。像吴易昺，商峻程，郑赛赛，王欣瑜，李娜，郑洁，彭帅英语都很好很好）

我也鼓勵年青人要學習多一種外語對自己將來絕對有幫助！但我總覺得奇怪為何一定是要中國人用英語接受訪問？如果他們不懂英語就覺得很奇怪！就會有人質疑或者取笑他們不會說英語。但如果被訪問的是日本人，法國人，或者其他非英語係的國家，就會覺得他們不懂英語是理所當然，沒有有任何問題！

中文是世界三大流行语言之一，也是联合国确定的五大官方語言。多極世界，应该是多文化，多人种和多语言的世界。在世界注目的奥运会或公众比赛中，中国选手在採访中，应该用中文去向世界推广自己的言语，而不是外文，尤其是少数民族,英格鲁殺遜的英文。

Obviously you had missed a badminton mixed double player, Zheng Siwei, who won the mixed doubles gold medal at the games in Paris. He is one of good English speakers among players of China. He had been interviewed by media in English after winning some big events like badminton world championships and Badminton all England and he did pretty good at the time.

A Multi-polar world should be a multi-cultural, multi-racial and multi-lingual world. In the public arenas such as Olympic Games that attracting worldwide attention, Chinese athletes should use Chinese to promote their own language to the world during interviews, rather than foreign languages.

我认为英语你不是去当英语语文老师或播音员演员有口语或语法不太正确只要能沟通就很好，中国以前教科书一开始就是国际英标。语法一开始接触英语就没有了兴趣

读小学初中都要开始学英语，基本单词背背，出国多了人就不会那么害怕说英语，信心就慢慢来了。还有也会接触到各种外国教练。中国孩子们都很聪明的❤😄

这跟接触外国教练没关系其实还是看因为裁判举办方还有比赛全世界还有接触各国至于学不学都可以只要不影响训练和成绩就行还有学习英语跟聪明不聪明没关系语言是工具看实际语言和兴趣而已，不过新一代运动员智商情商培养都不错不过其他国家比不过中国新一代运动员。😅

Putting Ma Long and Pan Zhanle at the same level ... wow. Pan could barely string two words together and had grammatical errors all over the place.. He's 'needs work' at best'. Ma Long has far better English and was able to speak far more fluently. Not quite silver medal level but definitely better than Pan for sure.

I am not too surprised that Zheng Qinwen and Zhang Zhizhen speak fluent English as they are in tennis league facing interviews all the time. So speaking English is kind of part of the job. But I am really surprised Chen Yiwen speaks that well. Certainly something learnt from the new generation of the Chinese diving team. Great stuff!
