I feel like Jesse and James have the absolute BEST bi nonbinary + bi nonbinary couple energy, unless they're both just gay and besties, and I actually love imagining them either way. like, in one universe Jesse and James are a couple, possibly more queerplatonic than fully romantic, but there's always a little potential for something with any criminal duo... and whether they're gay (Jesse goes masculine), gay (James goes feminine), queer (they're both cross dressing), or queer (their presentation is more typical but they're both still very flamboyant), changes one day to the next. and in another universe Jesse is dating Ash's mom, and James is the gay uncle that Ash got as a freebie when Jesse showed up.

yeah, I'd say Bruno is more of a muscular hunk. would say gym rat, but his character is explicitly more of a martial arts training guy, like, he's not at the gym, he's at the dojo. constantly though. and I do think that kind of muscle comes with an implication about the type of personality a guy would need if he was gonna keep that up. that said, in terms of physical attractiveness... for like, a one night take-him-home-from-the-bar or friends with benefits type venture... that man could probably do some stuff. in terms of bears... I think Chuck needs more body hair, but then again this is pokemon, so that's a difficult ask. he definitely still qualifies, he's just maybe not the face of the archetype. Drayden actually hits the middle point on the spectrum between hunk and bear... he's a very large guy, but while he is thick, he doesn't really have any belly to speak of. he's clearly very muscular, but it's sturdy muscle. he is doing his thing very very well, regardless of classification.

25:22 omg finally! You get it!!! I love Gordie as a character. I love how even though he can be appear to be full of himself, he is not a soar loser. One of my favorite moments was during the puzzle part of the gym, where you can hear his voice talking to you, giving support and advice. He acts cool, but not in an a dick way, but in a healthy self confident way (honesty I think he is cool, because that freakin backflip he does when challenging you is insane). I played SWSH blind, so when I he wasn’t well liked I was really surprised. He was honestly my favorite, I got so hyped every time I saw him. Oh yeah, and for attraction, he’s actually not my type, but yeah, I can see the bottom vibes.
