With Sam and Cat, Quinton Reviews did a like 5+ hour deep dive into it (he is going through all the Dan created shows from what I can tell). From what I remember, they originally wanted to do two iCarly spin offs after its conclusion. The first was one about Gibby that didn't really go anywhere. The second was about Sam and how she becomes the school counselor or something with her helping kids with troubled families like she was growing up. With Ariana Grande getting so popular, however, and Victorious also ending, they decided to reuse a lot of shit from the failed Gibby show and scrap the Sam show to make what Sam and Cat became so they could rake in that Ariana Grande money. It goes a lot deeper than that, and I recommend finding the original video and watching it because it is very interesting to see how crazy it all came to be. Poor Jennette Mccurdy could not catch a break.

I’ve seen a lot of episodes of Young Sheldon from most season, my brothers are fans, and as the series goes on Missy and George Jr acting gets better and IS AMAZING. Missy is PEAK in the show, and Georgie’s storyline atm is really good ! (Though, it does make me cringe whenever they try and make his relationship work…). All of the actors doing a great job in their roles, and I love it so much more than the original Big Bang Theory.

The best part about Young Sheldon is that they diverged from the predevelopped backstory of the Big Bang Theory. They still stick to some aspects, but they diverge in some big ways too, which creates actually interesting characters. There's a whole subplot about Sheldon dealing with the fact that one if his scientific mentors has schizophrenia (or something similar, I don't think its ever actually named in the show). That's something the original show would never be brave enough to cover.

Yeah, I was a little surprised of how good Young Sheldon actually was, because I don't like TBBT at all. In my opinion, I think it's one of the few spin-offs that are actually better than the show it was originally based on. If TBBT didn't exist and Young Sheldon was just a show that stood on its own and wasn't attached to an infamously cringeworthy sitcom with laugh tracks, I think the show would probably be liked more. I'm not saying it's flawless or that the show is the best sitcom out there right now, but it does have a lot of funny moments and the characters are entertaining to watch, even the unlikable ones like Sheldon or Mary.

As someone who actually enjoys Equestria Girls without being the most HARDCORE brony, I have to say, the way the series ended following the finale of Friendship is Magic definitely allowed me to see it as the one way to hold on tightly to Gen 4. Yes, Equestria Girls ending with those holiday specials instead of the graduation finale most of us were expecting - undeniably underwhelming. But I see that as a good thing since it means Gen 4 _technically_ never truly ended; emphasis on "technically" since this series takes place in a different universe WITHIN Gen 4. The characters don't make it all that different since they match their pony-counterparts perfectly, with Sunset getting most of the spotlight, and I love it for that. Meaning if you're a fan, you can expand on the story the way you see it fitting within the show's canon. Also, Sunset and Sci-Twi (the nickname fans gave for the actual human Twilight in the series) - they should've hit it off. I'm sorry to anyone who stans Timber from Legend of Everfree, 😅he's not a bad character by any means, but I just think Sunset and Twilight have had more time together and they displayed more affection for each other to where they could've gone this route.

The first episode of Tangles the Series is a pretty important one to watch. It also would have saved you from spoiling one of the shows big twists for yourself, since we don't learn about Cassandra being Gothel's daughter until way later. I really hope you give it a second go and start from the beginning this time, since it's honestly such a good show.

Tangled the series is still one of my top five favorite cartoons of all time, even as someone who watches every single I can get my hands on. As others have said before me, the long hair and rocks and Cassandra are explained in the movie episode that happens before the actual series (why they did it like this, I shall never know) but lemme tell ya, through the weird episode plots or “one-off” mysteries you may question, I PROMISE it’s a show worth your time and that all of the important questions will get answered. The characters are well written and well loved by their creators (Varian was actually supposed to get his own spin off series due to how much people liked him, a spin off of a spin off we were ROBBED OF!!) and the show just has so much love in it. I even talked about it to my highschool math teacher who he said it’s one of the best shows Disney has ever made and I completely agree. Seriously, I cannot recommend this show enough and based on your past character and dynamic preferences, you’ll absolutely grow to love the new characters like Cass, Varian, Lance and more! The world building is absolutely insane and the show just gets better and better as you watch. Alright, ramble over, please keep watching!! Or at the VERY least, listen to the soundtrack!!!!! Every single song is a genuine banger!

Just so the people out there know there's a diiference between a reboot, revivial, and a spin-off. For example, Raven's Home is not a reboot or a spin-off . It's a revival aka a continuation. Spin-offs are similiar to revivals, but spin-offs normally focus on a different character rather than the main character from the original source material. For example, Cory In The House is not a reboot or revival. It's a spin-off since it focuses on Cory instead of Raven.

I watched a few episodes of Young Sheldon for the first time yesterday despite knowing of it for years and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The parents are great actors and I enjoy the rest of the cast too. Also the theme song is surprisingly catchy despite being more of just a stinger. Korra great. TDRR is good. The TD toddler spin-off is not for me. Sam & Cat flawed premise, but there are some occasional funny moments. Cory in the House is wild to look back on. I genuinely love So Random though the musical performances had such high variance. And yesss love that you love Smosh and Shayne and Damien too 💖

If Korra's hate stems from anything, it's mostly Book 2 without question. Granted, the writers didn't even think they were gonna reach enough success with the show to warrant a Book 2, which I understand when continuing a story established by your predecessor that won the hearts of billions of people (and still has people watching for the first time to this day), but I wouldn't tempt fate like that. If you have the budget and the dedicated people to continue your story, maybe you should keep moving forward and hold out hope everything will go smoothly. Regardless, I still find great appreciation for Korra. Ignoring the love triangle stuff between her, Mako and Asami, Book 2's weird writing choices, and that I feel we needed more of a satisfying ending, it's still really good.

10:42 I've heard some people complain that Together Again was the third episode and not the final one, but I was really happy with their choice to finish the miniseries with Wizard City. Together Again is a fantastic conclusion to Finn and Jake's story, and could have easily been the grand finale, but Wizard City being fairly removed from the main cast while still telling an incredibly engaging story was a perfect epilogue to end this run on. It assured that there would continue to be stories to be told in this world while respecting the original cast's part in it. I know there's going to be the show following Fiona and Simon coming up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more spinoffs in the future. Maybe even handing off to new creators to see new stories.

As someone who watched a lot of H2O and then a good chunk of all 3 of Mako Mermaid's seasons: 1. I can't tell if you said Mack-o Mermaids on purpose or as a joke and it'll haunt me 2. As a male fan of the original show, I had actually always wanted to see a merman on the show! However... 3. I'm not the only one who's noticed it, but the show has very strong and very gross Gender Essentialism and Man vs Woman vibes that ring very TERF-y to me. There are only 2 mermen ever in the show (Zac being one), and they're both portrayed as effectively being biologically predicated towards violence, greed, and domination. Mer-pods are exclusively female and any mermen that are born are forced to live on land since birth all because of a mermaid vs merman war that happened thousands of years ago. Very much Not a fun time for me to watch. 4. Basically almost none of the characters, especially the 4 mer-protagonists, treat each other nicely. It's always very antagonistic. 5. The show kind of breaks H2O's canon with the existence of a natural mermaid pod that's apparently always existed at Mako Island, but was never seen during the first show. It's been speculated (maybe officially stated somewhere?) that Mako Mermaids was originally going to be a prequel, but by the finale introducing a grown-up character from the original show, it's a confirmed sequel that's completely incompatible with the original show (along with a few other reasons).

The Equestria girls episodes where the mane 6 forget about Sunsets characters arc made me ship Sunset and Trixie together. I thought it was really cute when Trixie decided to help Sunset and how Trixie kinda understood what Sunset was going through. I also liked when Sunset said something like "at least I'll still have one friend" or something like that to Trixie. Anyways I'm a hardcore Sunset Shimmer x Trixie Lulamoon supporter because of those episodes now 💪😤

21:25 when I was a kid I had a friend of mine who loved My Little pony and exposed me to everything about it I know a lot more about it than thought I ever would. But I distinctly remember Equestria Girls being an absolute fever dream that I could barely believe was real. The contrast between going from magic ponies to a mix between Monster High and My Little pony is absurd

Ok so my total drama standing ass has to do now a rant enjoy! The ridonculus race is a complicated season: the first half is basically there just to set up the new characters and every pair’s relationships, that’s maybe why you weren’t too interested in the episode, because they are still setting up. When they get down to the final few pairs tho they start putting a lot more non-eliminations episode to let the characters interact. So like, if you aren’t bothered from the long buildup it becomes very good by the end of it, especially since the last 8 or so teams have very messy relationships between them and it becomes good old total drama chaos. I’d suggest watching the whole season it’s very good like for me it’s second only to world tour cause world tour is literally unbeatable. Also as kid shows go dramarama is like one of the better ones I’ve seen waaaaaaay worse

why is it called All Grown Up if there in their early 10s not even teenagers? Someone online popped the idea of a Phil and Lil talk show or Stand-up comedies. something like Seinfeld but more PG 13. with the other Rugrats as cameos or side characters who might get a few self contain episodes. I want to see the Rugrats be All Grown Up in their 20s or 30s maybe with 1 or 2 having kids

What about Little Mermaid: The Series? That show was WILD. There was an episode where Ariel unfreezes a bunch of dinosaurs because she’s an idiot and they wreak havoc in the undersea kingdom. Or the one where she meets Hans Christian Andersen. The guy who wrote the original Little Mermaid where she dies at the end.

girl i love your channel but your steven universe future opinion hurts me, but then again thats cause i just relate to him alot in that show and i can see why that moment would seem SUPER drastic to other people but damn. damn i get it. i get why he did it. the second half of that show is honestly so personal to me lmao, cause like... mental illness fr that said SAAAAME about rapunzels hair making me not want to watch tangled the series despite adoring tangled the movie ever since it came out. i saw the advertising for the show and i was like uhm???? hello???? cause they just. do not explain it outside of the special that comes between the movie and the show. like. they do not address it in the advertising, they dont explain it in the show and iirc dont actually acknowldge it in the show much at all. you have to watch the special that came before the show to understand stuff like that. ALSO THEY SLEPT ON EUGENE SO HARD IN THAT SHOW. like i love rapunzel and i ADORE cassandra (idc what anyone says i love her with my life) but like? i also love eugene :[ he felt like a sidekick non-main character despite literally being a main character and even when he had a major story thing happen it felt like it just wasnt handled all that great to me. with all that said keep in mind i have only ever watched through the show one time a few years back lol, so i could be misremembering things

Alright, I'm 5 minutes in, and I'm coming to the defense of Bizaardvark. It's overhated, the show was entertaining in it's own right, with the best part of the show being the dynamic between Paige and Frankie. There was a time when it was the only show on Disney Channel I could actually stand. Maybe it isn't fun to watch a show that tries to emulate internet culture, but as someone who knew nothing about internet culture until a while after this show, it still managed to be entertaining. It is not as bad as people make it sound, hell I liked it. But then again I also found iCarly pretty boring, so maybe my opinions are invalid lol
