In my opinion, there are so many other areas Google can improve upon rather than a "Profile Strength" gauge that does not measure the "strength" of the profile but instead the participation in Google's other paid services. Disappointing. Especially since there are other BIG players, like Apple Maps, that are ramping up their business profile tools to be more competitive with Google. Thanks Luc, I think this feature has been around for a while, as I covered it last year on a video. Its probably a trial from Google as Rusty Brick and other seo gurus in the USA hadn't had it back then. Weird its come back again isnt it.

It was indeed being tested last summer however it seems to have been fully rolled out now.

Here I have a problem. When I access the Profile Strength, it takes me to Add service options like in you video. Here I answer all questions, but when I push Next...nothing happens. The only way to exit is to push Skip. You have any ideas why doesn't let me go forward? Thanks in advance!

Luc a bit off this topic. I used to be able to see the number of people that viewed a customers update but now I don't see that anymore did they stop that?

Hi Tim. If you are referring to google posts then the answer is yes. Google removed the data which is quite irritating. You can still somehow measure if they are efficient if your update include a link people can click on. Just set up a UTM tracker so you can see it in GA.

No it won't affect your rankings. Just make sure your listing is well optimised

This new update screwed me big time I had 20 maps ranking number 1 in different cities and 19 lost position. So sick and tired of there updates and erasing all the hours of work i put into. You try managing 20 profiles.

Your customers will only have one google account so it doesn't make sense for them to publish multiple reviews.
