I've been brainstorming/writing a Persona 5 Royal/Strikers fanfic featuring Ren as a transfem. (Inspired by the P5R Female Protagonist Mod*). As I'm writing it, she gets exposed to _Ranma ½**_ at a young age, and that's the thing that cracks her "egg" (or at least starts to). I'm also considering having her get a complete MtF sex-change by way of Metaverse cognitive/reality-warping BS... * (Partly because of the mod's premise, and partly because the protag was still frequently referred to with masculine pronouns in the text when I first found the mod in May 2023. The mod has seen quite a bit of change since then). ** In the spirit of the source game, I'm using knockoff names for trademarked properties where possible. For example, my working Englizh knockoff title for _Ranma ½_ is _Just Add Water: Cursed Springs Martial Arts_ (abbreviated as Just Add Water; bonus points if I manage to learn what that title would look like in Japanese, complete with *its* abbreviation).
