Congratulations again to you both! Parenthood is an amazing, albeit, challenging journey. There is nothing else in this life that will be as difficult and nothing else that will be as rewarding. We've raised 3 of our own, and now at 41 years old, I've found myself beginning a whole new life. I was a very young parent and my only true regret was that I didn't slow down to enjoy every moment with them. welcome little Vera,you will be loved and cherished not only by your parents,but also by a lot of goofy strangers.If you beleive in OMEN,my grandmother passed away on the 25th of november.She was named Vera.In her lifetime she cruised 6 times around the world.She loved the water.In the summer at her camp in Maine,she would get up at 6am,and swim one mile every morning,wich¸she did untill she was 88yrs old ,I her Granson would sometimes accompany her.....So for me Vera is just the right name for her future journey.All my blessings little angel to you and your wonderfull parents.

They have to be one of the best sailing couples (now family) on youtube, probably why have been following then since the beginning. They are so humble, don't show off and live it up on their sailing travels, and still manage to be detailed and informative on their sailing, passage making and all the day to day fixes and such. Johan seems to be very pleased with Vera, which speaks a lot to Johan’s credit. It is wonderful to watch your family. Vera is a lucky girl to grow up being afloat. I have seen other videos where a girl has grown up sailing, and continues to sail independently.

Best video todate. Congrats on the new born, Vera and your boat. My Aunt was named Vera...…..a very strong name. In the U.S. the 26th Nov was Thanksgiving and you have been blessed. I'm a mans man and it takes a lot to make me cry. This video caused me to shed a tear or two. I have four grown boys myself and the first is always for training. You want to protect them from everything and fuss over them. The second child can come home with a stake through his heart and your like, stick a band aid on it, you'll be fine. Any way congrats, I know you will make great parents. If your parents raised you well and I"m sure they did, you have all the training you need to raise your baby.

I feel for the three of you, I realise it's your normal temp and I've been to Finland at Christmas, lived in Denver for 2 years and worked in Mongolia at -40deg but looking at the clothes you are wearing and the reference to 0 deg I relish the fact that I rarely wear more than shorts and a "t" shirt in North Queensland Australia, I love my life and my place in the world, but I also love your channel.
