100% agree about Ezeudu. Gotta stop trying to get fancy and play the fellas where they were when we drafted/traded for them . They become unknown quantities as soon as we move them. Versatility is nice, but it's for backups. Specialists are your starters.

O line is the one position group that can’t be completely abandoned and neglected too. I completely agree with you. It’s like a team inside of a team in my opinion. You need 5 guys that can get the job done, they need to ask A.T who’s he more comfortable playing next too and move form there. Since Neal is so behind he should be working with the 2nd and 3rd team the and specifically gaurd. If this new o line coach at Least doesn’t experiment him at gaurd, we have our answer about him and the o line.

I agree with everything you said about the O line. I'm sick of the incompetence. Playing musical chairs with the line is a recipe for failure again. How long is it going to take to get some common sense in coaching. What's that saying? Do the same thing over and over and expect different results is a fools errand. This is exactly what I’ve been saying in the comments since we signed these guys, that I hope they get the position that they set up for success and what do we do, play musical chairs. Last year if you remember the media was blasting Daboll for not having a starting lineup by the last preseason game and we know how the season began. This year after the first OTA the media noticed this musical chairs game again and asked Daboll and he looked agitated for the question. You don’t take a man who’s right handed and ask him to write an essay with his left hand during school finals….smh

I'm with you. It all begins and ends with the OLine. Been saying this for years. You cannot even get a good read on how good or bad DJ is if he is running for his life every play and cannot make his reads. Maybe he cannot, but we have never had a year where he has had the time to make them, assess his options and make the right play. I don't criticize him because I am not sure Josh Allen or Mahommes could play any better behind the OLines we have. If they can be just average, we have the receivers to wear teams out, plus he is a mobile QB. But, if the O Line sucks, we gonna look like that Dallas game week 1 from last year.

They now have TWO high draft picks that was terrible last year.The thing it seems they really want to avoid is JMS and Neal playing next to each other.JMS needs to make a huge leap this year

I don’t get it Dash, why are we the only franchise that wants versatility on the offensive line? Everybody else wants starters and back ups. The Giants are the only team that puts guards at tackle, tackles at guard and guards at center. If your best starter goes down he’s supposed to have a solid back up instead, our starter goes down and we move another starter in his spot then fill the last starters spot with a player that doesn’t naturally play the position. You ever heard the term you gotta laugh to keep yourself from crying ? 😂😂😂

Dash, I could not have said it any better or different. We are eye to eye on this OL thing. I understand there reasoning but I so completely disagree with it and if it doesn't work, it could very well be the reason Schoen and Daboll get fired. The implications for it not working are tremendous. Inefficient QB play leading to poor pass game and hurting the run game. I hope I am wrong or that they have Neal on a short leash. Neal is getting this chance because he is their 1st rounder in their first draft. Sigh. I really do hope I am wrong.

Part of the tension and standoffish behavior with Neal is due to his refusal in March of entertaining the idea of being a guard. All this move him to guard talk after the man said he's not doing it is a waste of time. 'Neal himself scoffed at the idea of moving to guard, telling reporters he “stepped out of the womb as an offensive tackle.” ' He sinks or swims as the right tackle.

Man, Friday's and Monday's are crazy around me so I'm catching up with my favorite Giants KZbin content creator, Union High's own, Big Dash. You have pointed out continuously the movement of players on our "O" line, for years now we've got interior guys sliding outside and exterior guys moving inside and that leads to a lack of cohesion on the field, missed blocking assignments, guys that profile as tackles, a different skill set and mentality, playing guard and vice versa. We know that tackles are trained in pass protection and guards in the running game. Football 101, I'm sick of this stuff too because without cohesion on the "O" line, we got NO chance! Now lets go out and kick Elizabeth's A$$!

Eluemunor had his best years at RT. He hasn't played LG in at least 5 seasons. Not one single snap. You already have guys that can play LG. Let's be honest the only reason why is Neal. They are giving Neal every opportunity because of where he was picked.

Something that coaches used to do... bench Neal and make him earn a job on the team. This is more poor head coaching by daboll, who doesn't impress me anymore. Not since the second half of his first year.

We have COMPLETELY abandoned our Oline! This patch work oline that the Giants have put together is going to be amongst the worst olines again. Zero olinemen drafted after having the worst oline in football. How the F%&k does that make sense. The Giants strategy is a hope and a prayer for our line! This is soo frustrating.

As soon as he goes to another team, he balls out again. By the way, you don't build through free agency it's WAY to expensive! You supplement needs through free agency and build through the draft! Come on, man, that is common football knowledge.

You always drop nothing but science. I would assemble the O-Line like Evan Neal wasn’t even in the United States. I would put Ezudu at Left Guard and Eluemunor at Right Tackle. They have the depth to fill in the blanks and build chemistry in the NOW…

I don’t think it’s a out of position thing it’s a need everyone to learn on the fly thing just in case something occurs but they all fully expect Neal to be available and performing to the highest of expectations with Elu Runyan spots up in the air pending outcome with Neal after camp

Perfect. A 12 year old should make the roster. Feelings are more important than continuity, skill, and getting our quarterbacks wrecked. If this mess continues week 4, I'm out on Daboll and Schoen. Get rid of them. 3rd round pick had 0 interceptions then Dallas got Beebe. They got 3 linemen and their line didn't almost set a World got dang Record for sacks. Worst line in the league, we got 0 trenches on both sides. I don't know how DJ lasted as long as he did. Toughest SOB in the league.
