Back in the day, when the big 3 were all still running, the spoilers for the chapters would literally get leaked on the same day the chapters came out, so it was easy to avoid. There wasn't an official release back then either for some time, and even when it came, most people didn't want to pay the subscription. Obviously now, most people read the official translation since the majority of 3rd party manga translations are dead. As far as manga elitists being douchebags and spoiling because they're pathetic and nobody loves them, that was always happening. It's just more prevalent now since social media is used by a lot more people and people actually read manga outside of the big 3 now, which back then most people didn't.

@@ChibiReviews It's unfortunate. I haven't even started JJK and I got spoiled today. It doesn't bother me as much though because I'm used to it. I got spoiled on AoT all the way back in 2013, and I was pretty much forced to read the manga. I've found over the years that if you read the manga for Jump series (at least the battle heavy ones), then you avoid the vast majority of spoilers that happen when it comes to being an anime only, because most of the jerks spoiling still mainly read the Jump manga, just more of it. There are a couple of other exceptions, like AoT and JoJo, that you also gotta watch out for.

JJK spoilers have been especially crazy this week, but I was seriously not expecting that avalanche of details at the end. Like bruh, the reason manga readers enjoyed those plot points so much were because they were so surprising. Sometimes because it even happened at all, and sometimes because it was expected but the execution was great. Hopefully the set up and payoff of those spoilers are still impactful for you!

This is just like back in the day when Attack on Titan season one first came out and people were going around everywhere on KZbin posting spoiler comments on every video they could find, even ones that had absolutely nothing to do with Attack on Titan. Like they made it their solemn mission to go around and spoil as many people in as many places as possible. That's how I got spoiled on the identify of the Armored Titan. I was watching a music video for some Rhianna song, a place you'd never think you'd come across Attack on Titan spoilers, and when I scrolled down to the comments sections there was a comment that randomly said "*blank* is the Armored Titan!" (replace blank with the name). I was so mad. I had to start reading the manga so I wouldn't get spoiled again.

I feel so fucking bad for you Chibi.. dude that's fucked and spoiling really miss toxic asf. It sucks that you got spoiled, but if there's one thing that may help is to try to concentrate and forget it. I know it's easier said then done or rather it can't be done, but when there's something I try to forget for a while, I'd always just close my eyes and meditate, think about alot of others and bury the spoils underneath all of it. It works for me and I'm glad I can't forget some spoilers, though it could be because of my mild short term memory loss (nothing happened, I just suck at remembering things sometimes), I usually forget little things and not big grandio reveals, but I can say is try to thing of it as something small enough where you can just forget about it. Hopefully this helps and again fuck those guys who be ruining not for everyone man. Hope you can still enjoy Jujustu Kaisen and hopefully what I said can help with that

AOT manga readers suck and that's coming from one. They literally don't give a crap at all abt spoiling stuff either. One of the girls on Imon_Snow's channel I believe got spoiled. She literally got a sweet email from someone, the email told her to click the read more button for a gift or something, and it was a whole ass spoiler. Like someone really took the time out if their day to write nice email just to spoil her, I feel so bad for AOT anime only's.
