Every power up anyone else in the show has is essentially pointless, ascended trunks and vegeta super piccolo and even mystic gohan was a joke, beast gohan and piccolos new form vegetas new form will be trivialised as well because goku has to be the one at the end of the day. How is anybody going to fear the new enemies when beating Vegeta is a mundane thing. First piccolo turns into a baby sister/ cheerleader. After that scene Piccolo or any namek has never lost his arm in DBZ. In dragon ball Super every Namek gets their arm pull off like is something to do. Just in that stupid Frieza returns movie? Are you going to tell that there was a soldier strong enough to defeat Android 17 and 18 easily without a problem under frieza's orders? Does Toriyama remember that Piccolo is stronger than a Super saiyan. How can there be a soldier working for frieza stronger than frieza himself. NOt just stronger than Frieza. If you take base Goku and put him up against base Vegeta the gap in power isn’t big at all, it’s there but not large. Gohan the son of a low class saiyan was is the youngest ssj2 in history transforming at just 11.

Vegeta has always sucked. vegeta was one of those characters who kept learning the same lessons over and over again. Vegeta was redeemed in the frezza arc and then forgets his development after the arc, the same with the Cell arc. The buu arc redemption doesn't work for me because so far vegeta has just been a cycle of learning and unlearning his redemption. His character in DBS is just a caricature lazy and bland writing for such a beloved character.

Goku saves Gohan during his end battle with Cell. Vegeta rocks up during Android 19 whooping Goku and Kills Android 19. Vegeta holds off Beerus till Goku arrives. Vegeta does big damage on buu. Without Vegeta, Goku would lose to Broly because who would Goku fuse with ? This guy sounds like he loves Vegeta so much that hes hurt by Vegetas downfalls.

If his opponent's were weaker than him he'd act all high and mighty, but if dbz broly, frieza, perfect cell were whooping his ass he'd fold and give up and act totally different from a supposed prince or king of saiyans should act.
