I grew up in the 80’s listening to “The Over Weight Lover” Heavy D. His rap style was always upbeat, which made you get up and jam. 💃. I miss him and those days… Side note, he played in the movie “Life”. Thanks Lamont, great job as usual.

Lamont I've been watching your channel all morning. I love how you do your research and speak facts. I like that. Like your not just putting things up but you do your research. I will keep watching .

Awesome video, my wife and I got covid and she passed away last week 34 years of marriage gone in 2 days. I'm far past being lost ,dazed and confused. Idk if I will get through this I have lost many people in life just like everyone else but the loss of a spouse is by far 10 times harder to deal with, my work drummer , allowed us to be together every day of our 34 years together basically I'm trying to say wear a mask and sanitize and repeat over and over lamont and be careful. I been watch your videos for a long time and wanna continue to

Heavy D was the sole reason why I learned how to dance because it was cool to see a big man dance and was as cool as Heav was. RIP Heavy D you left way too soon like a lot of our icons but you will never be forgotten
