Used to play Q3 alot back in the days, not following now, except for watching finals VODs, but since that Thoorin "Recollection" inteview I'm a huge fan of yours. hello...my char runs a little fast every few seconds then goes back to normal. Kind of a boost, do you know why? I can't find anything about it on the internet

You might be playing Scalebearer, whose passive ability allows him to speed up to a higher speedcap than other champs (500 UPS pre-latest patch). However this passive only activates if you are only pressing the forward key if I remember right. That or you might be turning in the direction you are strafing, and the acceleration kicks in, but the ground friction knocks it back down to the speed cap on the floor.
