It makes me so happy that Raphael tries didnresearch about what is acceptable before going to Japan and how he respects everything and has good interactions with the people. This is a KZbinr who should be going places. There are so many that disrespect the places they visit and make a mess of it, but it makes me happy that Raphael was so kind.

For some reason, I love watching videos about Japan, so here are a few Japanese food-related video topics for you: conveyor belt sushi; vending machines (or the vending machine restaurant); Japanese dollar store (Daiso); Mr. Kanso (canned food bar); Japanese McDonalds; very expensive fruit; giant cotton candy in Harajuku; Pokemon cafe or other theme restaurants; eating only Pokemon foods for a day; trying strange flavours of Pepsi/Coke, Doritos, etc.

That cashier was so helpful explaining all of the oden. Oden is one of my favourite dishes. Put a bit of miso or karashi mustard in there, and yum. The round vegetable is called Daikon. It is a radish and sometimes called Mooli in England. Im not sure about the green mochi but it might have been Shiso flavoured (a plant used in Japan that tastes a bit like aniseed and basil)

asian convenience stores are amazing and they really take care of the quality, especially in japan and they really live up to their name of being a convenient store. the lady that insisted on making u taste tht vegetable is a daikon radish, its essential in oden because it soaks up the broth well

Don't worry. Everyone in Japan eats in a combini (convenience store)Their cheap, the food is pretty good, and it's fast at the end of the day. I highly recommend that everyone who goes to Japan stop by a combini. 7/11, Lawsons, and FamilyMart are the most common but there are others that you can find like MiniMart.

im studying in japan and for the first month i just ate convenient store meals everyday hahaha bc theres a lot of variety and theyre pretty good. you should try to eat at kura sushi in ikebukuro if youre looking for cheap good sushi! try going to maid cafe as well maybe around akihabara. they also have this place called monster cafe in shibuya i think and its pretty famous, kim and kourtney kardashian went there lol. also you should try capsule hotel! you can stay for a few hours or overnight i think. you can try some love hotels too haha they also have the overnight or few hours stay. i heard there are some with themed rooms too.
