Good day everyone, how do you do? In this video, I show you what happens when the cabin altitude of an aircraft climbs with a resultant depressurisation of the cabin. First thing to understand is that the aircraft altitude is not the same as the cabin altitude on a pressurised aircraft. In order for occupants inside the aircraft to breathe, the cabin pressure must be maintained to normal levels so passengers and crew can survive. This means the aircraft structure should be strong enough to ‘pressurise’ without exploding as we pump air into the aeroplane as it climbs. We do this by allowing only a measured amount of air to escape as the air gets thinner outside during climb by adjusting outflow valves. Air comes in to cabin via bleed valves and then through the air conditioning packs. So the video is talking ONLY about indications NOT what other actions (Emergency Descent)thereafter- the subject of another video coming soon. Hope you like it- later!✈️✈️✈️✈️😀
