70's Rock. Timeless stuff. So many good bands, so much great music. No other era even comes close. I was in a store with my 17 yr old nephew, some 70's rock tune was playing overhead and I started singing along. He said "That is so old!!!" I said "Yep, 50 years. Do you think 50 years from now anyone is going to be listening to the crap that's played now?" The cashier started laughing and said " Preach to that young boy!".

And jus think, they were able to produce all that great music without autotune and pitch correction. I don't think you can listen to any recorded music that's put out today that isn't pitch corrected.

Lou Gram had an amazing voice and I loved Foreigner. Lou pulled through some dark times. He was experiencing headaches, double vision and went to the doctor and found put he had an inoperable terminal brain tumour. He heard a doctor on TV say he was doing this very new and difficult surgery on brain tumours and Lou flew out to see him and 4 days after he was initially diagnosed he found himself on the operating table and they removed the tumour and he is with us today. Great band!

Dude, 40 year olds. Lol I'm not 40. Almost 50 years ago I went to several foreigner concerts. 1977, 1978, 1980. I was 13, 14, 15. I'll be 60 March 25th. You guys have NO IDEA..... What music was then. It was real! It was part of these people. They weren't the sale outs. They made their music, their way. It was beautiful. They played instruments, they sang without digital computer crap going on. RIP TO PRINCE He played 26 different instruments. It's a by gone era😢😢😢 Tickets were 5.50 in 1977. 10.50 in 1980. Keep listening. Is all I can say. The albums back then were great. All the songs were great. Not just the Number 1 song. God Bless ✌️✌️ & ❤❤

They include: Feels Like the First Time, Hot Blooded, Double Vision, Headknocker, Jukebox Hero, Waiting for a Girl Like You, The Damage Is Done, Starrider, I Have Want So Long, Urgent, Head Games, and Fool for You Anyway, among others. Lou Gramm was a great singer and Mick Jones was a great songwriter and actually sang my personal favorite, Starrider.

Foreigner, Styx, Boston, Electric Light Orchestra, Kansas and there a few more that all rocked the late seventies into the early eighties. That is the era of the best music. I feel old now that i hear most of them on the classics radio stations. I love your reactions BP. It is so cool seeing some one hear it for the first time and reminds me of when I heard them for the first time.

You touched on a journey I started over 10 years ago when I realized Biggie's Hypnotize was Herb Alpert's Rise and Eminem's Hi My Name Is was Labi Siffre's I Got The Blues. Len's Steal My Sunshine was Andrea True Connection's More More More. I started a "Diggin In The Crates" playlist to find all the samples from hip hop songs I grew up with. The journey was instrumental in discovering and especially appreciating new (to me) artists and genres.

Classic Foreigner song! Great melody, fantastic guitars, superb keyboards and outstanding vocals... this was a song that I heard again and again over the years on the radio while growing up. Thanks for bringing this and I'm so happy (but not surprised) that you found this and it filled in some gaps from your music history. Many times when one artist samples or borrows from another song or tune it is just like you were describing in that you don't receive the breadth of what the original effort entailed. Your experience here is sort of like the old Paul Harvey News show which gave "The Rest of the Story"... Great reaction! I am continually impressed with your delight at seeing another side of music. You're the best!

When this came out there was some of the coolest concerts in the world going on here in America. I attended a Cleveland Concert where the bands playing were J. Geils, Rick Derringer, Peter Frampton, Bob Seger and another band. I can't remember the fifth band. But it was out of this world. There will never ever be concerts like that again. But I seen Foreigner, Dobies, Joe Cocker, and on and on. I am seventy one now and grateful I got to hear most of these live.
