Found you through Ren, now this, 2 of my all time loves. Billy and 14:43 his band is well worth checking out, now 5 piece - mandolin, upright bass, guitar, banjo and fiddle. ❤ The Billy rabbithole twists snd turns with surprises at every turn, as does Ren's.

Being raised by dad uncles listening to BG I know when I hear picking. My musician friend Andrea Forest sent me this. Her suggestion was Tommy Emmanuel and I see this kid doing everything I loved and wanted to do, lol. So I was hooked on Tommy who so reminds me of uncle and his playing, then I started pulling up more and more on William Apostol, step daddy Terry Barber taught him from like 3yrs old. Rest is history. Find out he wears his crown humbly and does all genres but always back to BG. Lyrics dust in a baggie my son heard at 34 on way from jail to rehab and son plays. Billy made him cry that day. Son clean almost a year. Billy's I believe an Angel sent to help his bros and whomever will listen. Whew. The Mama of John B. Love your reaction❤

@PradaWest Came to your channel for Ren and Saw Billy for a bonus! Subbed for more Ren and more Billy. Please check out Dust in a Baggie (sitting on couch in basement version) by Billy Strings. Keep in mind he was nobody at the time and now is the biggest star in bluegrass.

Great reaction! Here's one by Tommy that will blow your mind. Classical Gas [Mason Williams] | Tommy Emmanuel. Here's another Billy Strings for you to check out also. Dust in a Baggie - Billy Strings. I'll even throw in another guitar player that is Top Tier and I'm sure you'll love him too. UNBELIEVABLE Bluegrass Pickers! Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley. Enjoy and have a great day man.

If you’re prepared to delve into Billy Strings I encourage you to skip over a certain ancient clip of Billy in a basement (for now) and watch something more current. Along with his phenomenally talented band member, he’s blowing up in the best way possible. To really appreciate what they are doing, you almost need to watch a full concert or at least an extended jam. However to offer a “moment” that’s not to long for a reaction video, I’d suggest the second song he did at Lollopolosa: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qprVpHWEmqiFlZosi=2BDApeg3a4EYAXWz ( “Away from the Mire”).

I forgot a couple in my last post. Doyle Dykes is also Top Tier. Classical Gas - Mason Williams / 25 or 6 to 4 - Chicago | Cover by Doyle Dykes. Roy Clark, Roy Clark's Mesmerizing "Malagueña" (Live) and Roy Clark - 12 Street Rag 1964. And of course we can't forget Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood (Live at the El Mocambo). These should keep you busy wiping the sweat off your brow. Lol! Have a great day and enjoy the ride.

It’s funny because most guitar players watch that and decide to never play guitar again 😂
