This is a Ukrainian band and Tatiana is self taught with years of practice.She’s also a Pisces which has a fish sign in astrology I believe but you need to see them on stage with a live video performance.Suggest Perennial live at Wacken a German music festival or a darker Pit of Consciousness live Kiev from 2019 in their home country Ukraine before the invasion

Welcome to Jinjer. They are a lot like a jazz band; they love playing around with timing. They are great musicians and Tatiana is one of the best frontwomen in the business. Yea I couldn't figure out the time signature at all.. but i think its not as simple as I want it to be. Sounds like there were variations in it. But everybody is saying check them out at PERENNIAL Live so I'm a check them out there for sure.

You brought up a very good point. It’s not just that she is exceptionally good at cleans, belts AND growls… it’s the lightning quick transitions that really set her apart. Easily one of my top 5 singers.

@@jnuff_tv is a great performance thats still a bit on the softer end of the Jinjer spectrum. :) also very deep lyrics about how Tatiana's chronic depression gets more severe in the winter as she sees nature die around her. It seems like she wrote the song to remind herself that spring will come and she can make it through.

Fun vid. I watched another one, and you just got me into Hopsin, great stuff, way smart and deep. And his skill rediculous. Dude, Jinjer has super deep lyrics and composition. Pisces song is named after the horoscope, the twin fish, duality, watery smooth flow then heavy crash. Check out their song Teacher, Teacher. Oh, and Judgment & Punishment. The band has been very open about their love for Hip-Hop and Reggae, and it shows in those two songs

song starts in 7/4 the second part of the verse is 3/4 and the chorus is five bars of 4/4. Once you find the groove or pulse of the song, it just follows that. Hope that helps a little.

This is a live session but not a live recording. They have layers and doubling in the song that was done in post. If you are interested she has one take vocals on youtube, "judgment and punishment" is a great mashup of metal and reggae all one take for the vocals.

About monster voices, the woman who inspired Tati to learn how to growl Otep Shamaya does voiceover work for games and film. Fun reaction. There is a lot of editing on this, concert videos are better. I've seen them twice and they were great. I agree with the recommendations to do Perennial live at Wacken next.
