Thanks for this reaction. :) The member with the voice you liked is RM, a rapper and the leader of BTS. And the voice you thought was a female was the voice of Jimin, one of the main dancers and lead vocalist of BTS. He has a very unique and beautiful voice. :) BTS(BangTan Sonyeondan) It means BulleTproof boy Scout in English. After changing their logo, the meaning of Beyond The Scene also expanded. :) BTS is consisting of three rappers and four vocalists. And all seven of them are excellent dancers. They do a wide variety of music, but basically they are rooted in hip-hop. All seven members are participating in making their songs by writing, composing, and producing them. BTS started with a small company that almost went bankrupt, so they have been very looked down and hated by Korean broadcasting stations and other K-pop fandom. So they have struggled from the beginning to prove themselves. I highly recommend Mic Drop. (It's one of their billion-view music video.) If you're interested in BTS' other songs, I recommend.... Blood sweat & tears FIRE On kinetic manifesto film Black Swan Save me→I'm fine Daechwita(Agust D 대취타, Suga's solo) These are pretty different from Butter or permission to dance or Dynamite.(Only these three songs are fully English.These three songs have been written in English since the Pandemic to give energy to people around the world.) And, all of their music videos provide English subtitles. :) Their lyrics are very deep and beautiful. ​ Or, I think it would be good to follow a story line. DNA: Joy of fateful love → Fake Love: Realizing that love was a lie → IDOL, The Truth Untold, Epiphany, Answer Love Myself: To love other people completely, you should love yourself first. These are included in Love Yourself Trilogy. The lyrics of BTS' songs are based on their own experiences, and their albums are organic because they contain their growth narrative. Ahhh Jiminah 😍😍😍 Also, they do use Autotune but only for specific tracks and in specific ways such as to ensure the effect is heard or ensure consistency while dancing etc. they did use autotune for the English songs - hence them being so Pop as their aim was to break through in Western music more.

Thats RM. He's one of the rappers. You should check out his mixtapes and Agust D - (Suga) and jhope. I know you'll fall in love dude they are great. And jimin hits the high notes naturally he kills it. So do JK Jin and V. Their first few BTS albums were rap and hip hop.

My dude, BTS roots are in Hip Hop. As Artists, they play around with a lot of different sounds with freedom to their creative process. Their discography is massive since their debut in 2013. Thanks for reacting to BTS ! To talk about a few of your comments : the guy whose voice you liked the most, is RM : leader and rapper. There are 3 rappers and 4 singers in the group. Also the high pitched voice wasn't an effect, one of them, Jimin, is a countertenor (like Michael Jackson was or Adam Levine...) and is often mistaken as a female vocalist at first because of his delicate voice. That being said, I think BTS will surprise you on many levels as this is probably the most "typical" song they've released (they just wanted to share good vibes during covid and make people smile). So yeah Dynamite is good but it's about 5% of what they can do. :) They have, no lie, the wildest range of music any artist have and hundreds of songs. That means, no matter what your genre is, you'll find songs you like and some you'll enjoy less. Anyways, as much as medias like to put groups in a box, BTS is no typical "boyband" and even in the Kpop industry, they're totally different. They're pionniers in some way but most of all, they've been working very hard for a decade, literally starting from scratch in a company that was on the verge on bankruptcy only to have made this company one of the biggest economic sources in South Korea nowadays. On top of being amazing rappers, singers and dancers ; BTS members write, produce, take part in the artistic concepts, music videos, dance choreographies, ideas... Everything basically, in collaboration with their company staff and artists. They're really on a line of their own and I think you'll see that for yourself when you react to more. BTS originally stood for Bangtan Sonyendan - Bulletproof Boyscouts, with a mission to protect youths and adolescents from prejudice and unfair expectations. Then, a few years ago, they "rebranded" or matured into "Beyond the Scene", with the shield logo exchanged for a door - for youths who are maturing and moving forward, going out into the world to pursue their dreams.

Your favorite is RM. He is the leader and main rapper of the group. He is also a songwriter, composer and producer. Actually, all of them are. And LOL! there is no female sound effect. It's Jimin singing. He has the highest pitch that's almost always mistaken as a female, because of his angelic voice. A lot of first time reactor thought he is a girl. But when he speaks, his voice is so deep. LOL! His duality is insane. He showed his cute and adorable side in this video but he usually does some stunts in their hip hop MVs because he trained in several martial arts such as kendo for eight years, hapkido and he is also a black belt in taekwondo. He is also good at track and field games. He specializes in contemporary and modern dance but also learned popping and locking and has won dance competitions before joining bts. You've got to see thier live performances. They are the biggest group in the world. They have broken records of the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones etc.They have 3 English songs Dynamite, Butter and Permission To Dance which they released during the height of the pandemic to give positive vibes, happiness and hope to their fans around the world. These 3 English songs are not as deep as their Korean songs. I'm 48 years old and I'm a fan of BTS. I got into them because of the message they send through their music. I've never been a fan of any boy bands not even the backstreet boys or one direction. I'm not a KPop fan either but BTS's lyricism got me to love them. Dynamite, Butter and Permission To Dance were not written and produce by BTS. Their Korean songs are written, compose and produced by them. I'm a fan of Michael Jackson and when I saw Jimin dancing the Michael Jackson moves, I got interested in them. When I heard his angelic voice, I noticed him more. He is my bias or my favorite but after knowing all of them, I have come to love all the seven members because of their humbleness, kindness, talents, arts and most of all their individual personality. Until now, I am still not a fan of KPop but I only listen to BTS. If you listen to their Korean songs with English subtitles, you will know the depth of their message and stories. Oh by the way, BTS music genre includes hip hop, pop, latin pop, R&B, EDM, ballad and others. Right now, they are on hiatus due to mandatory military enlistment. The oldest member, Jin has already entered the military training. The other members are doing their solo career but they will enlist before the end of this year. Thanks for reacting to BTS. "They're a whole ass boyband." no, friend. They are the biggest boyband in the world that have written, composed, and produced over 300 songs mostly in Korean. (3 are 100% English) haha. But so glad you've loved what you heard! Jimin's is, as said, a countertenor and many many super popular western artists are. Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder as a couple. No effects. His live vocals are proof in the pudding. Not that an effect is wrong. He is definitely a very distinctive voice in the industry. This, Butter, and Permission to Dance are the 3 English songs that were released during the pandemic. They DEF aren't the full representation of their song. They cover so many genres. It's honestly just insane. Try Mic Drop, Black Swan, ON, and Boy In Luv. Each one is massively different.

The “female voice” is jimin that is his real singing voice his voice is known for being very high yet delicate and he has a very unique tone compared to other singers dynamite is not like there other songs it was 1 of 3 songs they did in all English during the pandemic to cheer people up there are 3 rappers 4 vocalists and they are like family they have been together for 10-13 years the youngest was 13 and the oldest was 20 one of the members is currently in the military (in kore sits mandatory to enlist before the age of 30 unless you are disabled)the other member are focusing on solo work (there not breaking up) they will all eventually release solo work before they all go to the military

They wanted to honor Michael Jackson (and disco/funk/90s fashion) with this particular english song. Taj Jackson, MJ's nephew, loves them and has been promoting them on his own for a few years. No offense to Blackpink, because Lisa and Jenny are not bad, but honesty they aren't anywhere near the same level of artistry as the rappers in BTS. And I say that with no disrespect intended, truly. BTS arguably has, hands down one of the best rap lines, period. They may be called kpop idols, but they are simply 100 percent true rappers, just true Artists, through and through. But you don't have to take our word for it, because they have the insane talent and skill to easily prove it all themselves. All you have to do is listen. In all honestly I would easily say they could hold their own, and probably put others to shame, if put up against other top tier rappers from anywhere in the world. There is so much more we could all tell you, but it can be a lot, trust me. *Oh and by the way BTS's fandom is called Army.* Plus I love seeing people enjoying discovering these things for themselves. Best suggestion, straight up would be a Cypher Medley by the rap line or the song "Ugh" And yes, Mic Drop might be another group one you may really like, but I have a feeling you may also really like Butter. Which if you like live performances, no one does it like BTS! They did a standing ovation performance last year at the Grammy's, where they performed Butter. To really appreciate BTS you have to see a live performance. You can watch their free concert in Busan last october. It was their last concert before their mandatory military enlistment. Jin the oldest has already enlisted and the other will follow soon. They will be all be back together in 2025. In the meantime, they released solo content. If you want to check out just the rap line, I highly recommend watching the live performance of Outro: Tear. You liked RM, who just had his first solo album out. He writes a lot of lyrics for the group and usually has multiple layers of meaning behind his songs and a bunch of wordplay happening. All three members of the rap line (RM, SUGA, and J-Hope) are fantastically talented with their own distinct styles in both writing and rapping. I love the group as a whole, but since you mentioned bars and being a rapper, I figured I'd point you in that direction for something that is pretty much the opposite of Dynamite.

BTS actually stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan (aka Bulletproof Boyscouts). According to member J-Hope, the name signifies the group's desire "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets". If you listen to Jimin's most recent vocals on the collab he just did with BigBang's GOAT Taeyang, a single called Vibe, especially the live clip version, you will find that he has a standard tenor voice with an enormous range. He can go very high. And I believe the BTS team asked him to do that, given that he was so new to the group and did not have any standard vocal training. But I don't think he's classed as a countertenor. His high registers are not his natural voice for either singing or speaking. He started studying martial arts before he started studying dance. He did not study vocals until he actually joined BTS in 2013. And he was the last member to join the team. So he has the least-trained BTS vocal skills, yet he's been able to develop an incredibly unique vocalization technique, I believe based on muscle control skills he learned in his years of studying Taekwondo, where he earned a black belt, and Kendo, which is Japanese fencing. Your reaction style, so energetic, insightful, charming, and upbeat, is really fine and I appreciate it. Hoping you visit BTS often in the future. Don't expect English from them most of the time, though their lyrics are often a mix of Korean and English or Japanese and English. The leader, RM, whom you immediately took a viking to, has really good English skills. But most of the rest of the team are still learning the language. Dynamite was written to lift people's spirit during the paramedic, and it did that for you. There are two other songs that were written with the same purpose, both are all English. But that is an exception. They cover many different genres, often mashing up two or more same song. I've been listening to them for like three to half years now And I'm never bored. I have a playlist of all their albums in release date order that I listen to a couple of times a week. There are hundreds of songs. They also have mixetapes, covers, and personal music that they released for free on Soundcloud. They're really prolific, and they're all good musicians. I think you will like what you find in BTS's bag.
