Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, I was a fan of Joyner for a long time toward the beginning of his career, and his first 2 albums mean a lot to me(I also just think they’re amazing), but the way he’s sold out stylistically in recent years is sad to see. He’s trying way too hard to be mainstream, and the majority of his newer music doesn’t fit his talents at all in my opinion. Joyner getting a Future feature(Future being one of the most overrated rappers ever in my opinion, I think he’s trash, and I’m someone who really likes trap, and more atmospheric hip hop. Future just sucks in every way in my opinion.) is just depressing as someone who probably wouldn’t be alive without Joyner’s 2nd album in particular. I miss the old Joyner. I hated this song, and I think it’s a perfect representation of the downward spiral of quality Joyner’s music has taken over the past few years.

My main issue is whenever he goes for the mainstream melodic style, he is so bad whenever he does that. I said he sold out to a mainstream style, likely in hopes of being mainstream. Also, there are consistent definitions for mainstream, look them up.
