I truly have always disliked Slipknot for the boring generic felling this band has gave me... but this song has always had a huge impact on me. I have lived the meaning behind this song and it's a tearful song for me. And I know im not alone in this feeling, even my best friend has have had the same emotions to it. For very similar reasons to me and even more so! God bless everyone! Wish everyone the best in life!

When I hear this song, I think of myself, thinking of past versions of me. Mourning past versions of me....but not getting so caught up that it affects who I am now.

There’s a difference between ad libs and background/harmony parts.. ad libs don’t follow the main vocal line, they are usually something different and are very small phrases that fit between the vocal lines or if the do follow the main vocals, the ad libs are only in certain words/phrases to put extra emphasis.. background/harmony vocals, most of the time they follow the vocal lines but at a different octave to make the sound bigger, full and rich, or they might be different vocals diff melody filling up the sound so there aren’t any dips in the big full wall of production they’re creating 👍👍🤘

If you want more Slipknot to react to, make sure to check out 'When All Hope Is Gone'. Do you remember the guy with the spiky mask (Craig)? He wrote the main riff on that and it's FUCKING AMAZING

You gotta react to Stone Sour's first album. It's like Corey Taylor's House of Balloons.

Theres so many great vocalists, frontmen/front women around. But Corey Taylor's vocal range, emotion he puts into everything he does is what for me make him the most talented of the lot as he's a singer, rapper and not sure how to put it other than deep fast paced heavy vocals!

You should check out the Murderdolls. Joey, the drummer from slipknot played guitar for them. It’s a horror-rock themed circus ride that would satisfy all your spooky needs this season.
