Tyler's such an underrated MC cos he's got the full package - storyboards his own beats, chameleons into many genres, can do a mean metal scream, has a dope singing voice, has bars for days (especially on his earlier stuff like 'Forest', 'Kitchen Sink'). He also tackles mental health topics like suicide, depression, and anxiety so tactfully well. TØP's past few albums have also had an overarching interconnected world-building theme around them. “Out of student loans and tree house homes we all would take the latter” is probably one of my favorite rhymes ever written by anyone ever. People want to take the “latter” (ladder) out of student loans, people want to take the “latter” (ladder) that goes to the treehouse, and out of student loans and and tree house homes, everyone would pick the ladder to the tree house. It’s just amazing how this line is both relatable, and how the line has a lot of wordplays going on.

*NF ft. TWENTY ONE PILOTS* They have to collab cause they have the same voices so they really sound the same if you close your eyes to twenty one pilots and think that NF is rapping it really does sound like nf... 😨😱

You know NF is inspired by TØP & also references them in his songs

if you watch them live, Tyler Joseph's ability to play the bass while rapping is crazy.

would love a "That's All She Wrote" reaction and breakdown, T.I. and em killed it on that track, one of my fave songs ever. Sounds good, good flows, bars, and very cool song structure

Thank you for doing this one! I feel you on it hitting hard - it makes me tear up every time since I first heard it when it came out 15 years ago. It paints such a picture of loss and destruction and regret - Kills me that she doesn't even know who he is. These lyrics are real poetic storytelling. Evocative.

I love that you did this song Knox! This made me go through my Apple Music library to make sure all my favorite 21 pilots songs are present and accounted for. Thanks!

Fake You Out, Car Radio, Ode to Sleep and Ride are just a few twentyone pilot songs that are just so good, I’m obsessed. I’d love to see you do deep dives on them!

You could also interpret, that he is an adult, because wearing black, but his head and the thoughts are still in his childhood represented by the red hat, but in the other scene, he represent's his childhood self, by lying in the bed and dreaming about stuff, so wearing red clothes on top of a layer of black clothes, while his adult family is talking to him, and wearing blck. If you know what I mean

Have watched many of your videos and love the breakdowns of the songs. You have a great talent. I just Subscribed (don't know why I hadn't been already....), and I just liked a bunch of your videos of ones I have seen. I always forget to like & comment on videos that I like, even though I know how much it can help the channel,; I'll blame my ADHD lol . Much love bro!

I only found your videos a week ago and have watched a ton of your ERB and Eminem break downs. They're so good! I was sad to see you didn't have any Twenty One Pilots breakdowns, since they're one of my favorite bands, and Tyler's lyrics are so emotional and have a lot of deeper meaning. Loved hearing your take on this song. Some other songs of theirs you should break down: Lane Boy Levitate Heavydirtysoul Ode to Sleep Morph Message Man Neon Gravestones Ride Holding on to You Migraine Car Radio Fake You Out Nico and the Niners Kitchen Sink Be Concerned
