Loved the reaction . She was 16 the bassist was 17 and his brother is 18 .at the time of the video . The definition of Asterism is a trio of stars so thats how they got the name .

Asterism played at the Los Globos in Los Angeles back in 2019. They had performed at a bunch of venues in and around Austin for SXSW, and hit LA for one gig before heading back to Japan. That was one hell of a show. HAL-CA is a force of nature.

7 strings here. He also plays 4-string and 5-string bass guitars. MIYU's 4-string has also a whammy bar, which I have never seen any bassist using. You may say that MIYU is a master of the bass, he can play anything of that sort of instruments... and play it very well.

I really liked this 360 version of OVERDRIVE. it had some cool bass noodling with a whammy bar before the song started. They also did a killer remake of JUMP by Van Halen you have to hear. STARS is also good.

(At least I know more Japanese fm guitarists then non Japanese) feel free to expand my knowledge if you know a few more to check out :) From Japan: Hal-Ca (she just melted your 🧠 :D ) Midori & Miyako from LOVEBITES ( I think you came across them a few times. if not you need a serious catching up) Saki & Hazuki from Nemophila (Saki also plays in Mary's Blood) Check Nemophila "Oiran" , or "Dissension" MV-s for some hardcore original stuff from the ladies. (Their covers also worth a look) Kanami from Band-Maid (I don't need to say more) Edit: just to name a few, that popped into my mind. Probably way more given the numerous other all female bands. This was only the tip of the iceberg. Then there is Nita Strauss she toured with Alice Cooper. Also participated in Herman Li's fundraiser for Jason Becker. From Italy: Fabiola from Frozen Crown is also a talented lady guitarist. Check their song "Embrace The Night". They were also guests in Herman's twitch stream. Have you heard of the guitar cover artist Sophie Lloyd? Pick any of her covers from her KZbin channel. Feel free to add more. Enjoy 😊

This song is like Asterism's "Gimmie Chocolate". It's not bad, far from it, but pretty much any of the their other songs are much better. So if you liked this, then pick anything else at random by them to be really impressed lol. And yeah they're a purely instrumental band. They don't want to have a singer because they want their music to be global and understood by all, so they don't want any language barriers getting in the way.
