Not sure why there are no views here but Maston is in a league of their own now. They have such a wide variety of their music and their discography is robust. You can't go wrong sampling a little bit from every album. One of my all-time favorite tracks was a bonus track on Hunter called The Ruiner. It has some of their old sound mixed in with their new but polished to something divine.

Mastodon is fucking epic. They used to do the screaming vocals, but after awhile they decided to actually try and learn how to sing. Now, the bass player, one of the guitarists, and the drummer all share singing duties, they've all got entirely different sounds and it's fantastic. High Road, Motherload, Steambreather, and Show Yourself are some great recentish singles.

The Drummer is a singer as well. Not the main vocalist but he does sing and he has a beautiful singing voice. They are from Atlanta Georgia and they have 7 Studio albums and 2 ep's.

They are absolutely southern. A band made up of everybody's cool uncles. Great musicians and all around rad dudes. I love watching rap/hip hop guys reactions to metal. Metal heads love rap and hip hop. We're all the same. Brent Hinds (guitar player with face tat) is as southern as it gets. Bluegrass roots. Love this content. Kill the stereotypes, kill the racism.
