This song is part of themed record Drones, with other songs like Reapers (you should definitely do live version), The Handler, Revolt or The Globalist (the live Glastonbury is great), Mercy or Dead Inside. So from the names you can see you got that right - military, drones killing people, both human "drones" or the flying drones, brainwashing, destruction...

Muse in their prime was when they released the albums Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry, Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations, and The Resistance. Those 5 albums are my favorite rock albums of all time. The Resistance feels like a mix of classical music, Queen and progressive rock, i love it. Their more recent albums are a bit lower in quality in my opinion, but still great. I mean, they've made 5 great albums, how many bands nowadays can say that. You should look up Knights of Cydonia Live in Rome, it's great.

I've seen them live in Toronto one of the best concerts I've ever seen for 3 people it's amazing the sounds they can create! Cool thing too when the show started it was dark and the bass player was walking down the aisle centre stage and his fret markers on his bass glow in the dark it was pretty neat! They definitely have a Queens Of A Stone Age and Rage Against The Machine vibe to them instrumentally and the vocalist Matt mentioned in interviews he draws influence from Jeff Buckley and I can totally hear that in his vocals! \m/

Queens of the Stone Age is my favorite band. While I can appreciate some Muse songs, there is no comparison. Yes, both bands are loved for their guitar riffs and their live shows. You guys definitely need to hear more QOTSA - “Sick, Sick, Sick” explores one side, and “The Sky Is Fallin’” features the beauty of Josh’s voice.

I wish Muse were as popular as Coldplay! This whole album is about drone warfare. Matt Bellamy has a lot of family members in the military so he wanted to explore the psychology behind becoming a soldier. And yes, it's a reference of Full Metal Jacket.

You were saying Live is best way to hear them, but when u did Butterflies and Hurricanes, ya said you wanted to hear the original...and thats a good point with that particular track. Bliss is great tune ah ffs theres so many great stuff by Muse😂 2001-2003 is there prime time 🤟 Muse are cross between 'stoneage, coldplay a lio bit, Radiohead...but ultimately they are their own thing.

I feel that Muse and QotSA come from a similar place. I get Queen vibes from Muse. The epicness of many of the songs and the singing style. The mixture of symphonic sounds with rock. I'd think Queen is a big influence for Muses music

I spent some time in my youth in a Psych word. Does that make me a psychopath? Definitely not.😊 I was let out after only 1 year because I was deemed not psycho.😊😁 The things I saw go down in that place you don't ever want to see. They kept me heavily medicated me, and in a straight jacket. Even though I did nothing to deserve that treatment. I said FFF that sh*t. The medicine never worked anyway it just turned me into a zombie. I've been free from that psycho place for the last thirty years. 😊🎉😁 But I do really like psychotic heavy metal/metalcore/deathcore music.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 I would give every penny I own to go see muse, live in concert. I would donate an organ for a backstage pass to hang out with the band. That's how much I love this band.🤘💪
