It is incredibly rare to see a Tool performance recording this high quality! They rarely ever released official Live content (a new one from a 2001 show should be coming to DVD soon!) so a lot of the time, the live videos you'll see are fan recordings. From what I understand, this audio was sourced from the soundboard - in other words, someone who had physical access to the engineering equipment recorded the audio directly from the source during the concert.
