Thank you for taking the time to video, edit and upload so many of your jobs. I just found your channel on Monday and have watched over 50 of your video's. You have said that it's important to have the right equipment for the job at hand, but I would like to also add that it's important to have a skilled and patient operator such as yourself at the controls. With the help of your "gentle giant", I know you call it the Beast, you make damage free recovery seem so easy. Then I've watched other towing company video's that still used the cable and winch method for every thing. What a difference in damage to the vehicle and the ground. I'm sure that your attention to detail in explaining the recovery and operation of your 1150R is very help for those who are in the towing business. Again thank you.

Ron, I have recently found your channel and subscribed. I must say that after watching your latest video and now working down the list it is so nice to find a professional and family friendly channel. There is no abusive or foul language which makes it a pleasure to watch,unlike many others,as well as that everything is explained very clearly. Sometimes I do not know how you stop yourself answering people with a sarcastic comment as it is obvious from the way they speak to you in the videos that they think they know better than you where especially where lifting is concerned. This is a great channel and I look forward to many more videos thank you so munch for sharing.

Wow! Looks like Miller has thought through their control system carefully. I'm impressed with Miller's ability to upgrade sensors without a big hassle. Raptor should make lifts a lot safer.

I would like to know how the boom rotates and moves back and forth on the truck and how it is anchored ,I have asked before and you very kindly said you might consider that if you have the time .I have really enjoyed all your videos so keep on showing them .Im not sure what wreckers we have in the Uk but I have never seen one like the Rotator .

I'd like to see the inner workings of this truck. How the cable spools work and are positioned in the truck, how the rotator rotates and how you re-spool.

I would like to know how Miller designs and fabricate the rollers and the track to be able to take the torque in any position of the boom position back-and-forth. This presentation was excellent

Love it. A must watch in my opinion. Does a hydraulic cylinder control the carriage (like on the rollbacks), or is it motor/hydraulic driven like the winches? My guess would be that everything is driven by the hydraulic pump(s), which must be high capacity to handle all those functions.

Brett Swampy. No I haven't. I'll have to check into it. I'm not sure if they make one for it, but that is a good idea.
@TheSwampdoggydog8 жыл бұрын
Ron Pratt hi Ron yeah they do make one but not sure what model they fit please check your connection socket thoroughly as the difference is minimal

Brett Swampy . I found one and have it ordered. It is supposed to work with my particular GoPro. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've wondered that when you run your outriggers on the opposite side of the truck , how do you know you're not hitting something or someone out of view that may have entered into that space since the last time you saw it was clear?

Can you do a walk around/overview of your tandem wrecker? Correct me if I'm wrong I think it's the Vulcan. I know Century and Jerr Dan better cause everyone around where I live operates those, and why did you choose to go with Century over Jerr Dan or any other light to heavy duty wrecker manufacturer?
@RonPratt7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I plan to do a walk around of the Vulcan. Vulcan is a Miller Industries product as is the Century. The reason we chose to go with Miller Industries.....Century and Vulcan....is primarily the dealer that works with us. We have bought from Bob Crouch from Crouch Wreckers out of TN for a long time. We like the product and the customer service as well as the dealer. Thanks for your question and for watching. God bless.
