Abigail G. She seemed genuinely good until her hand got Ruined. She slowly started to change and then it seems after the door situation, that’s when Cassandra seemed completely gone. I agree because what we learned from this show is that no one is evil for the sake of being evil. Varian was lead down a dark path because of what Rapunzel was forced to do, and while we know how strained Raps and Cass's relationship is she still seemed to care for Rapunzel until the very end. Plus we don't know what she saw when she came back from that door. Maybe she is protecting Rapunzel from becoming evil by touching the moonstone. Did anyone realize that once Cass touched the stone she grew that evil laugh? That doesn't sound like Cass. Maybe the second she touches the moonstone, it possessed her, and that's what she was planning to do all along so Rapunzel wouldn't become evil herself. We already know that when Rapunzel sings the hurt incantation she has trouble stopping herself, so maybe that's why Cass took it.

I think the possibilities are endless at this point. But one thing I’m curious of is, was Cassandra dying? Rapunzel’s hurt incantation was lethal, and when Cassandra touched her, her hand burnt. But what if it was poisoned, what if the effect was like venom and slowly spread throughout her body. After all, we never saw her again without the armor. If she went through that door and Zentiri promised to heal her if she helped him, Cassandra wouldn’t have much of a choice.

I think it's interesting how we could see, from Rapunzel and the Great Tree, how Rap's and Cass's friendship has been deteriorating. let see since S1 she wanted to prove she was more than just Rapunzel's maid and not forgetting her song waiting in the wings explain her pretty well, Rapunzel barely listen to her warnings so she doesn't feel that trusted, burnt hand and finally whatever happened behind the door and Varian got rejected once and went gunning for revenge at the end going to far and forgetting his father even when Rapunzel apologized, broke the law and offter him another way and asked that he get help plus we only seen him once or twice before that while Cass had 2 season so it more impactful to me imo still like him though can't wait to see him in S3.

I think she made a deal. The way she just seems chill with everything after she left the room and did not get a lot of time to even tell everyone that happened in the room really makes me worried that she made a deal with the devil in a way. I was rewatching the serie a little, and there still thing we don't know, like: 1. the letter that varian's father have with him, i think it was the firts test that varian did to Raps, but nobody read it yet. 2. The villain (don't remember the name) who confront Adira in the three, saying to Raps she was a fool if she trusted in Adira leading to her destiny. 3. Cass past, her dark arm and the door. You know, Eugene being royalty kinda makes sense since Rapunzel's Prince in the Original Brothers Grimm Tale. Also, Cassandra's new super Saiya appearance looks cool though I thought her hair could be at least slightly longer, kinda like Rapunzel's hair growing back after touching the rocks. My theory is that during the last episode, Cassandra found the true origins of herself, including who her mother is (Probably Gothel), then twisted her emotions and the Hurting Incantation not only affected her arm but also start to slowly affecting her feelings.

I’m so confused...I’ve connected Varian to the moon for SO LONG. Now I’m not sure I even CAN connect Cass to the moonstone even though it’s clear that’s the case.
