@@Ol2Stroker I got a ziplock bag with a roll of gasket paper and some .17, .22, 270, 30 cal, 380 auto, 9 mm, 45. That’s usually pretty close to what a guy needs when you need a gasket on a Sunday and nothing is open! 🤣

@@Ol2Stroker Depends on how many different caliber firearms you own. 😁 that said I purchased a gasket/Leather punch set from Harbor Fright. However if you lovely better half happens to own Circuit Smart Cutting Machine with some careful measurements and having the brains the good Lord gave a Dodge owner then you two should be smart enough to use the software to program the shape of the gaskets you need.

@@gullreefclubHarbor Freight has really stepped up their game in the airbrush department;I have heard mostly positive reviews on their new Avanti airbrushes/Avanti 58psi airbrush compressor kit,and their new Black Widow airbrushes & Black Widow 58psi airbrush compressor.The only complaint from Customers;is parts availability so any airbrush parts that either gets lost or broken,can be easily replaced without having to spend between $35 and $75 for a whole new airbrush.

What a beauty. Drove a 72 with a Cummapart in it. It was a nice truck for the times. They can have those COE, i would not want to drive another coast to coast or around the city. many years of changing my shorts on a dog house is enough. Another great video, can't go wrong with a Detroit. Just gets loud after 15 hour days running underneath you. It gets really hot in the summer.

Cool truck Wayne, can’t wait to see more of it. When those nuts were going too deep into your socket…hold a piece of paper towel over the socket and push the nut into it. The paper will hold the nut in, also works well with the socket upside down too when you’re trying to start a nut (I learned this from the interweb)

Flanged nuts, I've had good luck with those in tought spots like that. 93776A421 is McMaster-Carr for 1/4 - 20 SS, lots other sizes. Not sure if I've seen them at Tractor Supply. I kinda did something like you with the socket, the flange keeps it in socket, plus they grab and I don't need a wrench to hold the nut. Any tips and tricks for us guys who work outside lol.

why didn't you used closed Rivnuts on the Radiator or glue the bolts inside and put the nuts on the outside? and a wee tip, we used blue loctide on bolts for sealing the bolts and ATV'd the washers and topend of the bolt. Also didn't you said it was a factory V12 that was swapped to V8? what's the deal on that part? is that Engine off a Fire engine? or why does it have a Geared Alternator?
@Ol2StrokerКүн бұрын
Not real sure on why it has a gear alternator or what the v8 came from. But once the 8v92s were out alot of v12s got swapped at overhaul. V8 was 4 less cylinders for same horsepower and cheaper all around.

Uncle W, your 8V there gots both super - n - turbo so what made the "silver series" special besides the color? 🤔
@Ol2StrokerКүн бұрын
Supercharger aint called a supercharger on detroit. They call it a blower because it doesn't make boost. Silver series is almost a completely different engine than a green 92. Maybe I'll do a video on all the changes but theres ALOT. The double o 92 was nothing more than paint and a warranty on a green 92. The silvers were the real deal
