I was about maybe 2 going on 3 when she passed and honestly, I feel like I finally understand her like someone my age 17 years ago understood her. It kind of kills me inside that I'd be watching an interview with comments saying, "RIP" and wishes she could've lived. It saddens me because I want her to live, too. I want to see articles saying "August 25th, 2011, Aaliyah expecting child" or "January 17th, 2013, Aaliyah turns 34" and not "10 years since Aaliyah's death" or "WOULD'VE turned 34" Sad.

As I always said about Aaliyah. She was the most beautiful kindest sweetest human being to ever exist on earth. She was truly an angel on earth. God blessed us with an angel to touch us and inspire us in every positive way. She was fun classy unique stylish so amusing an amazing singer actress and performer. She was and still is the center of our attention. Been some time now that she's been gone but her presence and absence is still felt. Wow gives me chills when she speaks about the future like that. She was always looking up to the fans thinking of her fans her people her fam.n frds. She always wanted to make everyone happy. And when she mentions about living a full life. She had alredy done so much at just 21 and was looking forward to the future. Golly. That hit me hard. ❤❤💗💗 this rotten stinking music industry doesn't know what they've missed. She had everything fellows. Everything about Aaliyah y'all was on point and perfect. Aaliyah you are still truly deeply missed. Wish you were here killing the game. Love you babygirl. Back i 2019 🤗 I just wanna point out the intimacy that we used to have when we had a favorite artist and how they would present their videos to us as a world premiere now you go to KZbin just to see a video. But I just miss that personal connection we had with the fans because it really says that they acknowledged that we did choose them, we was riding with them and we acknowlege their talents. Now you just have all kinds of artists and people just doing whatever and one must scratch their head and say who put them on top? because they're not any good, they sound like last 10 people but aaliyah is a solid reminder of what true talent is and what it really means to have been chosen. I will forever miss her😣

_1990_babyface She accomplished what she wanted. In other words, she built a fan base, her work is recognized and renowned. She feels and thinks as though she is able to work/produce more and everyone will generally like it. She’s well above financially stable, you could make $10,000,000 (Her net worth at time of death) last a long time if you know how to utilize your money correctly. I don’t how or where Aaliyah lived but she seems well close to a normal lifestyle, no need for an expensive home or vehicle. She was overall very successful in her field and nothing could stop her.
