It’s not society’s fault that you were on drugs dear. Addicts love to blame others for their problems instead of taking responsibility and doing what needs to be done to get clean. Call me insensitive but this is reality and we can either get high to try to escape it or improve ourselves and deal with the cards we’ve been dealt. Best thing to do is just avoid drugs in the first place because once addicted it’s incredibly difficult to stop. You say “I cry each night for the bad choices I have made” and then in the next sentence you are saying it’s society’s fault as if you were forced into making said choices to use drugs. Which if that was the case then EVERYONE would be drug addicts. Hope you’re doing better now though! Btw I am a former drug addict and most days are a struggle, so I can relate, but it was nobodies fault except my own and maybe partially my older siblings. I do agree that mental health resources should be better but there are tons of rehabs/programs/resources etc to help people get sober. It’s really on the individual to put it all into practice. Wish you the best!

Something pretty cool that I just noticed: The main character drinks a cup of kool-aid that was tipped into his mouth by a man nearby and the dalmatian tells him "You got kool-aid kid, all over your face!" who is mocking the dude for being so easily influenced by a figurehead. i originally wasn't going to comment, as i usually just lurk in the comments sections, but honestly, you guys have outdone yourselves with both the animation and the music. the moment that made me write, is 1:29, i just absolutely adore the animation of the doberman, the way the face anticipates, the close-up camera, the way the brow and jowels follow through, it's just, Pure eye candy. Not to mention, the entire animation, through and through, has such a wonderfully surreal vibe. Especially in the escape sequence, where the use of the sudden 3/4 signature change, and the forced perspective, the trippy colors, i love every moment of it. Well done, all around. (also, THE rare american saves the day, which is amazing) EDIT: Jeez, i didn't even fit everything i loved in that big ol block of text! the posing, especially in the falling sequence, is just, stellar. even with the limited frame count, every motion feels punchy and heavy. So fun little detail: When the main char starts out, his eyes aren't glowing. As they move on it slowly gets more and more intense, obviously until they're doing the rainbow thing.
