Amazing Video!! Those barriers are a really nice touch. I love those alarms too. It’s cool to see a somewhat original crossing still active with only little replaced

Thanks very much! 👍😁 This was definitely one of my favourite crossings on this trip. The barriers here just have so much character to them. The loud alarms too sound quite nice here IMHO. 👌

Nice Video and Crossing!!😁👍🏻 Glad it still has these barriers because I like them even though not been to this Crossing yet. Also didn’t know it had a signal!👍🏻

Thank you very much! I too am glad it has retained these barriers for so long. All full-barrier level crossings are interlocked with signals, it's just that this one has Semaphores at it. They'll be gone in about a years time though.

Great video and crossing! Love those old barriers! The one closest to ya in the first clip also lowers very slowly, so I almost have to wonder if it needs more than just lubrication and if the motor could be on its way out. Sounds like the gate mech for the barrier closest to ya in the second clip also keeps running after it's lowered?

Thanks very much! These old barriers have so much charm. I was aware that the entry-side barrier across the tracks from the box seemed on its way out, but it was just some of the sounds coming from some of the others making me think some lubrication was needed. Both entry-side barriers were also revving until all barriers were down, even after they were lowered.

Yeah I agree. They've got a lot of character to them, especially this particular set. They're also bit nostalgic to me as a lot of level crossing videos I watched whilst growing up had these barriers featured.

I had a huge obsession of level crossings when I was young, the level crossing obsession lasted from 2013 to 2016. I drove my parents crazy, listening to level crossings on my I pad with the volume up max, most of the videos had these barriers and I love the alarms, but I don’t like the new alarms and barriers they are putting on the upgraded ones

South East Level Crossings & Trains Channel You’re welcome, by the looks of it, they’ve been very poorly maintained as of recently, let’s hope they get sorted out instead of being replaced, I’d really like to go here one day, but I doubt I will :)

Damn, those barriers are aggressive when coming down! Hopefully I can film this before it gets upgraded! I caught the old crossing at Tram Inn in the summer of 2020.
