Unbelievable what a great group these guys were and how criminally underrated they are😮 this guy Barry on classic album review even snubbed me when I asked him to do something on them😮 what great musicians they were and I think 90% of their songs were great😊

I just love this song. When I first heard these guys, I thought they would go on to stardom. So sad...

As we all know Life is not Fair!! Have loved them from my Teenage years back in the early 70s!! They were so good!! Beautiful Blue eyed Soul/Funk/Rock, however you need to label it!! They should have been Huge!! Never got the breaks!! But in 2023 the Music is still sounding fantastic!!. X

I was a teenager in the early 1970s as well and if it wasn't for KSHE in St Louis I would have never heard of them and they're one of my top three favorite bands of all time😊 I love the song turn your head around😊 these guys should have been absolutely huge especially in the progressive rock world😮

Pure gold-dust. I used to work around the corner from where this was filmed and cannot believe I never got to hear about the gig - I was a massive fan back then and a bigger one (waistline included!) now. Awesome AWESOME band. Tony

Love this band. One of my favorite songs. Even with the rough sound, this is fantastic.

Great to see this again, thank you for uploading it. I remember this clip being played on The Old Grey Whistle Test, and Bob Harris said that the band was preparing their next album - half studio tracks, half live. Sadly, there were no more albums but was the rest of their set recorded? And does anyone know who the bass player is?
@johnvinga54467 жыл бұрын
I believe the bass player is Andy Rae, and the Drury Lane footage is from 1975, not 1977. Rare Bird opened for Barclay James Harvest, and RB wasn't a band any longer in 1977.
