Could you image if Dennis Rodman played for the New York Knicks in the 90s. With their style of play he would've fit right in.
@drr32753 жыл бұрын
Rodman was probably one of the strongest and most dangerous players on the court, can you imagine if he would have gotten into real fights, he would have destroyed people, instead he would pull back and let the other players take the foul. His handling of Shaq is proof of his enormous strength and skill.

I agree you can tell with most of the clips he wasn't out to intentionally injure his opponents, but when it came to bullying and mind games and ntm awesome rebounder/defender he was fucking legend . Dominique trip could have been worse and my man holding him from smacking the court on the follow through.😅

Dennis Rodman played mind games better than anyone in NBA history except for Larry Bird, & he learned by going to war with Bird & the Celtics over and over again until he was finally seen as an equal. Rodman was the greatest rebounder in history and one of the greatest defenders in history. And what an iconic character he was, he truly was an unappreciated National Treasure.

@Sonic Lebron wouldn't be able to handle the enforcer type brutal paint waiting defence and cheap shots the bad boys would hand out to him. Lebron is 6'9 260 and flops and cries like someone half his size lol
This was the era when ejections was just a normal occurrence in most games. Most plays were in the paint with players hustling under the ring, and scores rarely exceeding a hundred.😁

Go look at his free throw numbers compared to the greats you'll clearly see they average damn near the same amount of attempts he also gets far less free throws since 2012 . He earns his points just like them and is literally top 3 in scoring and top ten in assists literally no one else is top ten on both those lists. Stop hating. Hes also top 15 in steals. You sound crazy 🤣. Literally the players today are the same size as then but far better physical specimen and at peak performance. The only thing that changes is the speed of the game and the rules I dont agree with the flopping either but it draws fouls and secures points idk why everyone acts like this is new larry bird used to have games where almost half his points were free throws. They literally had to put in a rule to stop intentionally fouling people like dwight howard, shaq, ben Wallace and other bigs. Most of the athletes today would be even better back then could u imagine curry shooting in that era ? 🤣 jailhouse basketball isnt better that shit is hand checking and hard fouls

@@yokakeshinowakane the average height of players during that time was 6 foot 6. The average player height now is 6 foot 6. If u dont think this is the athletic prime of basketball players you are out of your mind. And if u think the stars today wouldnt be stars then simply from fouling again u are out of your mind. Just cause the game soft doesnt mean any of the players are. Back then they literally used to foul people they couldnt check but thats "good defense" and literally most great players actually played in this era and retired in this era aside from the greats from the older days. Shaq retired within the last ten years, kobe retired the year the gsw made history which was 2016 and dirk just retired in 2019 just to name a few this shit is hilarious people act like these people played oh so long ago and it's not almost a direct comparison
